Shane's Rib Shack- Fairburn — Restaurant in Fairburn

I’m very disappointed in the half slab of barbecue ribs, mac’n’cheese, and baked beans I ordered Monday morning. When I returned home to eat my food I noticed that the ribs had been reheated from the weekend when they originally cooked it. The meat was tough and did not fall off the bones like it usually does, and when I got to the second rib slice I could feel how cold it was inside- refrigerator cold! The baked beans and mac’n’cheese were also NOT freshly cooked- they basically took it out of the fridge from the weekend and reheated it. I tried calling Shane’s Rib Shack to complain and tell them I was going to return my food and request my $24 refund, but the phone rang several times without an answer- I literally called 20 times back to back without an answer. Perhaps they were busy taking phone orders and/or assisting dine in customers. I should have known something was going to be wrong with my food when I heard one dine in customer complain about her baked beans and another customer complaining about their fries while I was waiting for my order. It was my day off and all I wanted was to treat myself to a fulfilling, tasty take out meal.

I will NEVER spend my hardworking dollars at this restaurant again. I will drive 4 miles further up Senoia Rd to Ohio Hog Barbecue Company to buy some real smoked cooked freshly cooked ribs, baked beans and mac’n’cheese. Shane’s Rib Shack, you’ve got to do better! You’re in a great location; yet you need to be feeding your customers freshly...

A Finger-Licking Good Experience at Shane's Rib Shack!

I recently visited Shane's Rib Shack in Douglasville and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the mouth-watering aroma of slow-cooked barbecue, setting the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional experience.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my order was taken promptly and that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home and added to the overall welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the ribs! They were nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly tender and falling off the bone, each bite was a burst of smoky, savory flavors that had me savoring every moment. The barbecue sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, complementing the ribs beautifully.

I also tried their sides, and they did not disappoint. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, while the baked beans had just the right amount of sweetness and spice. It was clear that a lot of care and attention to detail went into preparing each dish. Don't forget the peach cobbler!!!

Overall, my experience at Shane's Rib Shack in Douglasville was exceptional. The delicious food, coupled with the warm and welcoming atmosphere, made it a meal to remember. I'll definitely be coming back for more of their finger-licking...

My wife ordered online to pickup. We ordered a half rack of ribs and a half chicken. When she picked it up the chicken was in the same foam tray as the ribs. That was unacceptable for two reasons. It's two separate items and should be in their own containers and I am allergic to any mammal meat. Easy solution and we would have been happy is to remove chicken and give us another half chicken that had not been in contact with ribs in another container. The employees there refused to do that and made the wife buy another half chicken. That in my opinion was not good customer service. They blamed my wife for not specifying on the online order that the meats had to be separate. It was two different items. Would anyone else know that this would have to be specified? Would others object to having a half chicken they ordered piled on top of another separate item they ordered? Food was good. Service was double awful. We would have been happy if they would have made it right AND not blamed my wife for the error.
