We always have a wonderful experience. We haven't had a bad thing yet. The croissant donuts are out of this world. We have a order that we get every time we go. That's 2 chocolate donuts with nuts, 2 old fashion donuts, 1 dozen mini cronuts, 1 dozen donut holes, and 4 croissant kolachies. We spend 32 bucks with a good tip on top. Which to be honest is a great price. Cronuts at most places are way over priced but here you get a good price for very great quality. The chef and his wife and wonderful and very welcoming people. They always have a smile and a filled with energy. I would say to try everything. We tried there creme brulee donut and it was jaw dropping the cream filling had a wonderful taste that was spot on creme brulee. When the chef told me that he makes the filling from scratch I new he was an artist. Strawberries aren't my thing but my wife tried there strawberry cream filled donut with strawberry frosting and bits of freeze dried strawberry bits on top. She says it's official her new favorite donut of all time. I can go on and on about this wonderful place. But at the end all I can say is if you close by then head over to Stacey's donuts, and even if your not close by head there anyways. It's more then...
Read moreHusband and I are new to the area and wanted to find a staple donut shop - and Stacy Donut was just around the corner. It was a big surprise to find out that Stacy Donut is a Japanese owned donut shop - because that meant there’s a high chance the level of sweetness will be up to par to my Asian sweet tastes (LOL). The matcha bomb was DELICIOUS and just the perfect amount of sweetness to taste with the bitterness of matcha. I tried the mini cronut because I didn’t want to commit to the big one and OMG - the flakiness?? PERFECTION. I’ll definitely go for the bigger one next time. My husband also said the strawberry cream donut was excellent and the strawberries tasted fresh. In conclusion, the donuts were delicious, not overly sweet, and UNIQUE!
The service was also amazing and super friendly, we felt welcomed and they were quick!
A plus was that the donuts displayed were organized, even down to the donut holes - which most donut shops usually just throw into a huge mountain pile. The shop was also clean and smelled like yummy donuts.
We will definitely be back, and are happy to find our new...
Read moreI will never come here again! I stopped by with my 5 kids yesterday. Each kid picked out 3-4 items and I ended up spending $25 on donuts/drinks. When we got to the car, my daughter realized that the cashier had put the kolache she ordered in the microwave and had forgotten to give it to her. My daughter ran back in to ask for the kolache and the woman behind the counter wouldn't give it to her, telling her that she forgot to charge us for it. Really?!?! At most donut places in this city, the owners will generously give out free donuts. Not this place! Not only do they not give anything out for free, they won't even give you food that THEY forgot to charge for. I'm so turned of by this I will never return. Keep your kolache lady, we will take our...
