Drive thru was kept waiting. Multiple people working, but no one took my money at the window. My order was packed with a different side than I'd requested. I understand employee shortages, but this particular visit there was a young woman just holding up a counter by the drive thru prep counter. While another made a couple shakes for the order behind me and set them on the counter behind my drink. The Attendant who did finally wait on me was surprised I hadn't been closed yet. She did apologize about her timeliness, stating she'd just returned from break. She confirmed the order verbally before handing it to me and was surprised when I asked for my drink after she'd handed me my food and said goodbye. The one returning from break was great, she greeted, confirmed and smiled as she said goodbye. Customers don't mind waiting if they're informed of any delays. That's what made me mad. Curly Fries looked like I got bottom of the barrel because it was mostly crispy bits with very few fries and the soda had a funny aftertaste like sulfur water. I think next time I'll bring my own drink and cheddar cheese.
I would like to point out that the dining area and everywhere else I looked was clean, not just a normal clean, I'm talking immaculate. I don't think I've seen a cleaner restaurant. Read moreThe drive-thru attendant seemed annoyed when I asked for sauces and came across as generally unfriendly. I try to be polite when ordering, but the sighs, dismissive “go up there” when I didn’t move right away (because I didn’t hear him clearly), and the sarcastic “so you want sauces” with an eye roll and smirk made the interaction unpleasant.
Please understand that disabilities exist, and sometimes customers need to ask questions or take an extra moment to process instructions. Rushing someone with repeated “is that it then?” in a sharp tone is discouraging and disrespectful. Everyone has off days, but kindness and patience go a long way—especially in customer service.
Other than that, the food was good but I probably won't go back to this location until they improve...
