Almost 10yrs to the day, my wife and I went on our first date here. We're now married with 2 kids and decided to run it back. While our relationship has grown and gotten stronger with time, sadly Elizabeth's has not. Arrived around 6:30, to an empty "dining room" which is now just a waiting room with tables. Passed and ignored by multiple employees until finally asking the cashier "So, we just sit anywhere?" So its basically the food court. Ordered zucchini fries and a salad for the lady, and a Sausage and Pepperoni calzone for myself. And two beverages, a flat Dr Pepper and a fruit punch. This was at @6:50. At 7:30 we still have no food OR beverages. After watching people who came in after us leave, I decided to approach the counter and ask if our food would be arriving on The Nina, The Pinta, or The Santa Maria. Unfortunately, you pay BEFORE you receive your food so that the abysmal circumstances that follow dont influence the tip you leave. Food was not good. Its sitting in my fridge ATM, but only a layover on its trip to the garbage. I should have just thrown it away there so that the tip I left would have actually paid for a relevant service. Not sure if the Hope Mills location suffers from this level of apathy and disregard for customers, but definitely just go on to Sammio's or Luigi's because this place...
Read moreTerrible experience. First the server missed our appetizer after I had pointed to it on the menu and told her the size we wanted. 15 minutes later I asked her about it and she said it was noisy and she did not hear me. Then the appetizer arrives 1 minute ahead of the pizza. So which do I let to sit and get cold? Taking a look at the pizza it was made wrong. When I ordered I stressed that if the cook did not know please ask us about it. No one asked. the pizza was made wrong. I sent it back and explained in detail to Victor. He agreed and offered an idea. I said great, that is exactly what I wanted. So I waited for the pizza to be remade. 5 minutes later Victor arrives with the pizza. I take one look at it and am shocked. All they did was take back the previous pizza, add a few toppings around the edge, add some new cheese and reheated it. Instead of remaking a new pizza they simply tried to pull a fast one and redecorate the first one. The original parts were now overcooked. I called Victor out on this and he said, "Oh! you wanted me to make a new one"? Well yes, that is precisely what we spoke about 5 minutes ago. They were simply trying to pawn off the first pizza as a new one. I called it a day and left after paying for my appetizer. First impressions are lasting impressions. Elizabeth's is off my list of...
Read moreTried this place last week and WOW, has this place turned into a dump! I no longer stay in NC but was visiting a friend this spring break and I was so excited to try Elizabeth's since it has been a few years since my last visit. I ordered over a $100 dollars of food for our entourage and was so disappointed with everything. The toppings were very low quality, ranch was super watered down and they have the nerve to charge over $1 or something for extra. The ranch didnt even taste ranchy. The pasta I ordered was a flavorless greasy mess and getting drink refill was a pain because you have to go back and forth to the window to ask for it. They give you everything in to-go boxes and paper bags even when you eat there and their bathroom toilet seats were so gross! There is so much more but the gist of it is that their food quality, service and atmosphere has gone severely downhill and I completely expect to see this business shutting down in a year or two by the way things looked. The food simply isnt worth vying over, Little Caesars is better than the greasy soggy mess they serve you. I'm still in shock with the amount of money I spent on this garbage! This place used to be a family and friend favorite but now is just...
