This place is great! We stopped in on a whim and found a gem. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere and decor was great, and, most importantly, the food was incredible. I would say that the food is just as good as nicer, sit-down Mexican restaurants, but in a more casual setting. They offer traditional foods like tacos, burritos, arroz con pollo, nachos, etc... For the tacos, they have a well stocked condiment/topping bar, which allows for some customization. I am not a fan of seafood, but they appear to have lots of seafood options as well if that is your thing. They also have $1 tacos on Tuesdays, which is a crazy good deal. Lastly, we got the apple chimichanga for dessert and my daughter literally had tears in her eyes because she found it so delicious...haha. The original location is at Allisonville Road and 96th Street (been there for 18 years) and this location (7834 E. 96th Street) is a new location (only been there about 4 months as of Feb. 2024). If you are looking for some good Mexican food, and also appreciate good service and vibes, check out Pancho's!

Needed a taco Tuesday spot and this place did not disappoint! Not gonna lie, I am sad to see Tijuana Flats leave but this Pancho’s is a pretty solid replacement. Very friendly staff and good tasting food. Two dollar Tuesday was hittin! I got 2 shredded beef, 2 ground beef and 2 shredded chicken tacos which were all flavorful and filing. The toppings bar had plenty of salsas to help take the tacos to another level and I gotta say I will come back again.

Have visited Panchos a few time now and never disappointed. Abel, the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food is on point. I’ve had burritos, tacos, Caldo de area soup and the flan so far. Everything is delicious but the soup has stolen my heart. The flan is the second best I’ve had, close behind my ex wife’s. Sorry Abel. 😎. Stop in for one of their daily specials or order off the regular menu. Either way, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I told my husband we shouldn't stop here because there was no one there during dinner(we were there about an hour and no one came in). We walked in and there was one table of two people. But then I looked around and the place is really nice and really clean! The guy at the front counter was super nice! We got guacamole to start with homemade chips. It was really fresh and good. Then we got the rest of our food. It was bland (mind you, to they do have a toppings bar that you take your plate up too). Plating looked nice. None us liked the food. Which sucks because its a really cute place. We are not complainers!! I so badly wanted to tell them what they could change because I dont want this business to fail. My family ordered 6 different things. All different. The new corn is missing depth and just tastes like sour mayo and corn. It was to much but lacking something as well. The chorizo was good. But the other meats were not. The outside of the tamales were decent. But hardly anything inside. Just plain tasting chicken. My husband is not picky at all and he was even super disappointed. The toco salad had steak in it which was good but the rest of it wasnt. You couldn't eat the outer shell. It didn't taste right. One thing I will say!!! It was fresh!!! You can tell there is heart and soul put into this place and someone is working hard to try to make it work. But this restaurant will not last unless they elevate and fix recipes on the menu. I really hope they do survive because this place has amazing potential!!!! Im sorry to the restaurant, that this isn't a possitive reveiw. I do wish you...

I just spent $14 on two shrimp tacos and added beans and rice. I actually only wanted beans but I got both and they were absolutely disgusting I can't believe I spent $14 on such a shitty lunch. Shrimp was overcooked and little popcorn shrimp so that's not hard to do if you don't know what you're doing. They were chewy and shrimp tacos shouldn't be chewy, I forced one down only because I was starving, but not even cilantro or salsa could make them taste better. Best part of that overly priced meal was the rice and beans....very disappointed! For $14 I could of ordered a whole meal of AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I do not recommend this place at all, just like the Mexican restaurant that was there before then, I don't look for this place to last either there barely a step above Taco Bell and lmao I like taco bells tacos...
