If you searched up "seafood boil in Flagler Beach", the results were limited. So, let's go ahead & put it out there what this place really is - it's an outdoor beach bar with occasional food. We are on a family vacation & decided to stop by since we promised the kids a "seafood boil". Based on some of the other reviews & photos, we thought it would be ok to go to. It's a little confusing when you get here bc you're not really sure where to park. Save yourself the headache & find an available spot on the street, hopefully within walking distance. Then, we weren't really sure if this was a seat yourself, go to the bar to find someone, is there a hostess inside kind of place? We were greeted at the door by who we assume was an owner & another employee. We eventually chose a booth outside since there was a birthday party going on inside. I'd like to say it got better once we sat down but it didn't really. It took a really long time to receive our drinks & when we got our food, it took at least 45 minutes. *I do have to give our server credit for being so accommodating to our special requests on the different ways we ordered our boils (one didn't want sausage, another didn't want crawfish but extra crab clusters & no Cajun seasoning & another wanted only crab clusters, corn & potatoes) My husband said his fried catfish meal was tasty & our boils were adequate. By this time, we just ready to eat, get our check & be done. The seafood boil didn't really taste like there was any type of seasoning on it, some of the potatoes were cooked & some not & the butter wasn't melted or warm. The bar area was fairly busy but it didn't look like there were many people with food. We didn't ask for a manager or supervisor, we didn't complain to anyone but the owner still decided to compensate us for the lengthy wait on the food. We made sure to tip our server accordingly bc it wasn't her fault, she wasn't the one making the food - she's just trying to do what she can given the situation. If you are looking for an extremely laid-back place with a relatively busy bar & not in any hurry for a snack, then this is the place for you. However, if you've got a family or would like to eat in a reasonable time from when you place your order, you might want to look somewhere else.

I stopped by to try the Cajun Dog special and was absolutely not disappointed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and quickly shown to a great seat. The service was efficient and friendly, making me feel right at home. The hot dog and fries were served piping hot and incredibly fast, which was perfect since I was pretty hungry. As someone who typically prefers a classic Chicago-style dog, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, this Cajun Dog was a delightful surprise! The unique flavors of peppers and Cajun sauce set it apart, and it was clear that a lot of care went into its preparation. The fries were crisp and seasoned just right, complementing the main dish perfectly. I enjoyed my experience so much that I’m already planning my next visit. While this was a casual meal, I’m looking forward to coming back for a formal dinner soon. If the quality and service are anything like what I experienced today, I know it’s going to be a fantastic time!

Where do I begin??? If you are looking for great food and a fun atmosphere The Cajun Beach is your place! As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted and seated immediately by our waitress Denise. ( Who became auntie Denise by the time we left, Lol) We ordered our food and had a great time waiting by playing corn hole, the giant connect four game and listening to the great music. We did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. It was cooked fresh and every bite was absolutely amazing. I ordered the voodoo shrimp and truffle fries. The sauce on the shrimp was absolutely delicious and the truffle fries were the best that I have ever had. My girls ordered the fried green tomato po boy and the fried shrimp po boy. Both absolutely amazing!! Family friendly, great service, great vibes, great food and beautiful view of the ocean...what more can you ask for?! I highly recommend.

Tried to give this place a second shot but again was disappointed. Was seated at a dirty salty stickey picnic table and no one came for 20 minutes. They finally took our appetizer order then never returned. Finally brought the appetizers 30 mins later but never brought silverware or napkins. Brought burned chicken nuggets and fries for the child with us. Never returned to take our dinner order. Finally a guy came to take our dinner order and said they only have two cooks, excuse himself walked away and never returned to take our dinner order. There was a tall gentleman that seated us walking around with a baby in his arms the whole time. If he's the owner or manager of the restaurant he should have hopped in the kitchen and helped out if he was a good manager and the kitchen wasn't keeping up. After sitting there almost an hour. we got up and left. Alcoholic beverages are very weak. They really skimp on the Alcohol they serve. This is our second attempt at eating at this establishment and our last. They never seem to have servers, they never show up to take your food order, they don't give you silverware or napkins. Don't waste your time. There are a lot of restaurants on Flagler Beach that have their act together and great food. In my opinion this place won't be open for very long because thet juat can't get their act together...

We went here for a night cap the first time. The place is adorable! There were six of us and the service although friendly, was extremely slow. There were less than six other people in the bar/ restaurant (12 total with us).

We decided to try it a second time because the food looked delicious.

We went to lunch on a beautiful day and we’re not in a hurry however, it took close to an hour to get our food. Again, there were only four other people sitting at the bar and no one else appeared to have ordered food. Service again, was friendly however, she was not very attentive. We sat with empty drinks for over 10 minutes and we went to the bar to initiate the next round. When our food came it was far from hot, it had great flavor but it was still cold. I did forget to mention 30 minutes after we ordered our meal the server told us they were out of our appetizer. (Seems a little late for an app.)

I have worked in the food service industry for a number of years and I am extremely patient but this experience was poor. I love to support small businesses but we will...
