I wanted to love this place more than I did. We found parking a street over. We were promptly greeted and seated. Staff was friendly and easy going. I ordered coffee- it came lukewarm & the flavour wasn’t the greatest. He ordered the French toast latte which was actually perfectly seasoned and incredible. He ordered the biscuits and gravy with two eggs and a side of bacon. The presentation was weird- the eggs came on the biscuits and gravy. Maybe I’m not accustomed to this and it’s the norm but I hadn’t seen that before. the gravy was a bit sweet- im not an expert here but my partner didn’t LOVE it either. It was alright. At least this place served sausage IN the gravy. The portion is large which is a win. I had an omelet. It came with a side of hollandaise. The sauce is actually super thick and delicious- I will say some of the best hollandaise I’ve ever had. I subbed a homemade jalapeño cheddar bagel- also a win. The omelet looked a bit over cooked but I thoroughly enjoyed the flavour. The potatoes came out halfway through my meal, which was unfortunate. The waiter told me it would take a bit for it to come out as they were still being cooked. The actual potatoes though were seasoned with I don’t know what but it was not good. Borderline spicy and reminded me of dry marinara- if you can imagine how that flavour would feel in your mouth. I had a couple bites and just couldn’t do it. The restaurant is a little cafe with a more dingey vibe, which isn’t horrible but with being unimpressed with certain aspects I wasn’t overly thrilled by the time I left. Chances are if I were in the area again I wouldn’t return- I’d try somewhere new. It’s not horrible but it didn’t win me over.

Brandy's, this quaint place is great. Food is good. Very welcoming. This place is surronded by local art, guests enjoy delicious made-from-scratch pancakes and pastries, colorful variations of classic egg dishes, exciting sandwiches, a full espresso bar, and fun brunchy cocktails! Brandy's uses only the freshest ingredients available and has been locally-owned and operated for nearly 30 years. Brandy’s has been owned by Kelsey and Jamie Drayton since 2014, but it’s story began in 1976 when long time family friends Ed Wojciak his future wife Brandy opened La Bellavia in downtown Flagstaff.  The two later opened a larger location, Brandy’s Restaurant & Bakery, to include espresso and a from-scratch bakery.  Upon the Wojciaks retirement, Kelsey & Jamie Drayton purchased Brandy’s from them and later acquired La Bellavia, converting it into a second Brandy’s location, now known as Brandy’s Café. Since then, the Draytons, along with the continued support of their loyal customers, have worked hard to preserve the legacy of serving delicious, house made food in a welcoming and uplifting space, which the Wojciaks set into motion more than 45 years ago. You can order ahead. Also have foood fast if eaten outside..

Brunch on a Saturday was busy around town but this was the only place out of 4 that had seating without a wait even though they were active. It's a very "cozy" space so it can feel tight if you prefer more separation. I had the prosciutto/avocado Eggs Benedict which was good but had more of a sweetness in the hollandaise than expected. My friend had French Toast that was less than fluffy and soft & was just more dense than either of us preferred. Plus the strawberry butter was artificial in flavor rather than fresh tasting. The two of us shared a Mimosa flight that was a good sampler & we both enjoyed our Specialty hot chocolate (the Aloha) & dirty Chai. Be sure to stir your Mimosa for best taste. I really appreciated the temperature of my hot chocolate not being scalding. Service was polite & friendly but seemed to rotate between several staff members rather than one main server. We did receive a discount on our non-alcoholic drinks for the underwhelming French Toast. I would come back but it would likely be a fallback option rather than a first pick.

First and last time we'll eat here. The sign on the door asking us not to let the door slam shut should have been the first clue. (How about fix the door??)

No one greeted s. There was no hostess stand. Were we to seat ourselves? Another diner told us that we should just pick a table. A server came by and literally threw 2 menus on our table without uttering a word. After several minutes, a different server asked if anyone took our drink order. By this time, we were ready to order, but she seemed only interested in drinks. It turned out she was our server and later took our order. Very slow service.

I got the Florentine Benedict. The eggs and hollandaise sauce were good, but there is no excuse for using frozen, chopped spinach. Bleh. The pancake side was warm but the non-butter spread wouldn't melt. What was that greasy margarine wanna-be? Just awful. My husband's chorizo scramble was mediocre. The side of potatoes looked GREAT -- crispy, seasoned, homemead. Wrong. They lacked salt and fat -- but please, not the stuff that was on my pancake. We had to ask twice for ketchup and salsa to make the potatoes edible. My ice tea was never refilled. Actually, the server never returned after our second request for condiments.

The original server who threw the menus at us brought us our chedk. She was very friendly then. Too...

We read reviews and had seen lines in front so tried it on a Saturday morning, we got there at 8:45 a. We were seated inside after the table was cleaned. They seemed very short handed and I felt sorry for the wait staff. This was Labor Day Weekend so we understood it might be longer, but we waited 20 minutes before anyone said a word to us. Finally a waitress greeted us and took our order. I had eggs Benedict Americano cafe and my husband had the large pancake with blueberries and reg coffee. It took another 15 min before we got our coffees and 25 min for our food. Uggg! So hungry by this time, but expecting great food. What a disappointment! My eggs Benedict was underwhelming and very expensive for nothing but a thimble of fruit for a side. My husband’s pancake was gooey in the center. The waitress never came to check how our food was and then when she did come with the bill she asked how everything was and my husband showed her the center that was left and she said, “oh no that’s not good, I will let them know”. Almost $100 for one of the worst experiences and food in quite some time. And yet there was a line out the door. I have a feeling since they have been in business for over 30yrs they have become complacent and with prices that are high everywhere they struggle. ...
