Blackhound gallery is definitely from the good old college days, with funny novelty items and outrageous "I can't believe they are selling that" kind of items, PJ Chill Cottage is a fun, cozy boutique that sells woman's clothing to unique baby items to bath and body gifts and items, Sage is an upscale clothing shop for women and in the downstairs is the Basement marketplace which sells fun, juniors and women's sized clothing. Was told to leave the shops by a security guard for openly carrying a legal firearm. Asked why it wasn't posted on the entrance(s) to which he replied that it was and then proceeded to ignore me once I questioned him about the matter. I left as I did not need to cause a scene or be falsely accused of anything by this rent-a-cop. Checked all entrances, no postings. None. Attempted to contact a manager and have left messages with no call back. I will push the issue until I have an answer. Lots of fun for a day out on the town... Some shops are pricey, but others very reasonable, lower cost for unique, handmade goods like soaps, candles and jewelry. Art galleries are pretty much what you would expect... Unique and beautiful art from locals, but nothing a blue collar worker could really afford... Clerks in these shops are generally good natured and friendly... But you do get some of the "uppity college kids" element... And then there are also a lot homeless bumming change on the corners and streets... So it's a mixed...
