It pains me to say how fabulous this restaurant is because then it will get the attention it deserves and getting a seat will become difficult. They say you can taste the difference between cooking from a recipe and cooking from the heart. The food here underscores the truth of that adage. Not only is the chef a wizard with flavors, the delight his mom shares in working alongside him fairly inhabits every bite. Dang. It’s just so good. We tried the avocado toast which is next level. No need for bold or biting spices, the vegetables, etc hold their own. The house granola bowl with orange slices was a more generous portion than we needed, but we finished it anyway because it was so yummy. So yummy. The grilled brioche, ricotta, and lemon curd is an absolute delight. Beautifully presented and delicious. I chose the sunrise coffee because it was odd. Be sure you stir up the oj. The seltzer gives a lovely bite. Again, a remarkable creation. Indoor and outdoor seating invite you to settle in and enjoy these marvelous offerings. Y’all come.

Small little breakfast spot with indoor and outdoor self seating. Initially upon ordering told that it was taking 45 minutes for food order, which was fine and understandable as very all kitchen. Mimosa was okay, iced coffee with oatmilk was good but the blood Mary was good flavor but was chunky. Almost like they just blended the ingredients together with tomatoes. Eggs Benedict was good, good flavors not the traditional hollandaise sauce and was runny. Breakfast burrito said crispy pork but was soggy so just made the burrito overall bad. Also nothing comes with the foods like sides ie fruit, potatoes etc. $60 for 2 people there are other places to go for the price with more value. Also if you need to use the restroom be prepared to wait as there is only 1 bathro for both staff and guest, men & women and no changing table for babies.

Really good food overall. The avocado toast was just ok with not sufficient avocado. For $17, I would think the toast would have at least half of an avocado. The Yukon Gold Hash bowl was good but lacking flavor and non-potato ingredients I thought would be in there from the menu. For the price, both the avocado toast and Yukon Gold Hash bowl are not worth revisiting this place. The egg and cheese croissant and breakfast burrito were absolutely amazing and worth every penny and would definitely require a return visit. The croissant was buttery and flaky perfection. The burrito had perfectly cooked eggs and delicious, tender pork. The tortilla was toasted to enhance the flavor. The banana oat milk latte was a huge disappointment. I love cinnamon, but it was doused in it and I couldn't even finish it. The flavor were not good either.

Not my jam but clearly a popular place. I'll tell you what I liked and what I didn't and judge for yourself. I went on a Saturday mid morning hoping for a nice easy breakfast and coffee. The place was sorta busy, more than 50 percent occupied, but plenty of seats still available. The music was so loud, some kind of rap, and groups of people shouting conversations over the music. It sounded more like a night club than a cafe. I decided to order to go. I ordered an americano and breakfast burrito. I thought 22 bucks was a bit steep, make that 26 with their minimum tip option of 18 percent. It took about 20 minutes for the americano to come out and about 20 more before the burrito came out. I'm sure I waited at least 40 minutes for a to-go order. I could not wait to leave that place. The americano and burrito were pretty good, it seemed quality, except I didn't like the large chunks of potato that were quite firm, as in undercooked.

TLDR the service was extremely slow and impersonal, it was expensive for what it was, and the atmosphere was awful. The coffee was excellent, and the food was ok.

I don't think I'll be making a point if going back. If you know your way around Flagstaff you can do better for the money, or get just as good for cheaper. This place seems to get plenty of business so I'm sure they...

Drove 2 hours or so from Surprise, on a Sunday- got there about 10-10:30 or so. Lucky enough to grab the largest round table near the window as a party of 6. The place itself is small but homey and charming. Sat down and and browsed the menu(servers watching us do this mind you), and then attempted to place an order unsure on how as no server thought to tell us how this might work. After waiting 10min or so in line to order- finally was my turn and I was told there would be an HOUR WAIT for food. I was shocked!! There are full service high quality fancy restaurants that my family and I frequent that don't take that time. Extremely disappointed and obviously did not want to wait so I had to readjust and re plan the day and where we could go eat elsewhere. I think if you know and pay attention to your weekend rush, you should consider hiring accordingly? Imagine all the lost business and opportunity there- all the families like mine that just walk out...unsure we'll come back, concerned to have the same experience as we do...
