My letter to Denny’s customer service sent tonight should explain my review:
I was contacted by an area manager a few days after I received your email. She promised me a refund for this issue. After a few days I reached back out to her questioning the refund again. She indicated that it would be 3-5 business days for the refund to arrive and to give it more time. I am still waiting for my refund and it’s almost April.
I am sick and tired of this restaurant and wish I had another option when ordering food late at night because I would boycott ordering from this location if it weren’t so convenient. I plan to hit social media, Yelp and Google HARD with 1 star detailed reviews of this location.
I order at least 3x a week. Is this the way loyal customers are treated? HORRIBLE customer service.
I want my issue escalated higher this time. If I do not receive a refund or response within a week I will dispute this charge with my bank and my letter to Denny’s CEO John Miller will go out to your corporate offices via certified mail. I am not playing around anymore. Someone at corporate needs to do something about this location.
I have stories beyond belief of things that have happened to me when ordering from this restaurant.
Last night, for example, I ordered delivery at 1130pm and my order arrived shortly after 2am. I had ate cereal for dinner instead and was already asleep because I thought my order was never going to arrive.
Another example—a few weeks ago I found extra hidden pieces of toothpicks in my club sandwich. Thank God I didn’t bite hard on the sandwich and realized they were hidden in there before I damaged my mouth or you would have had a MAJOR LAWSUIT on your hands over that situation.
I don’t even bother complaining anymore because I get zero response about my complaints. I can never get ahold of the restaurant to complain. They never pick up the phone.
When will someone in corporate realize what a problem restaurant this is? When will something finally be done to fix this obviously mismanaged location?

We called a week ahead to be sure we’d have staff to serve our admittedly large 30 person party.
We were assured by the manager that we would be taken care of, and he would even schedule extra staff for the evening.
We arrived on schedule, and nobody knew to expect us. The restaurant was fortunately empty, so we were seated relatively quickly.
We then waited for an hour to be greeted by a server, and promptly informed that she would not be serving us.
We took our own drink order and wrote it down for our absentee server, who hopefully would have an easier time catching up with at least that task complete.
She finally showed up, and it turns out she had QUIT earlier in the day, but the manager had gotten on the phone with her when we arrived and begged her to come serve us. We never saw the manager for the entire night.
Our server had had enough of the mismanagement, mistreatment, and downright abuse she had to endure at the hands of the rest of the staff. We witnessed this firsthand. We were appalled at how she was treated after she came BACK into work at a place she had JUST terminated her employment with, just to serve us.
To put it mildly, the food was a disaster, the drinks eventually came, but she was too far behind to ever really catch up with the workload, and she was in tears several times throughout the night.
Idk how much everyone else left, but I left $120 cash for the sweet young mother who just couldn’t take the pressure anymore.

Read moreI don't used to do any complaint of any place but this one deserves it. First and last time in this Denny's restaurant in Florida City. Beginning with that the place was almost empty, but, don't matter to that had to way around 15 minutes to be seated. The waitress came and took the order (she looked that was a beginner without a training) brought the drinks and didn't saw her again until the food was ready for us. After the food she did not show her face again to see how everything was going, neither if we needed anything else. Had to ask another worker if there were any soups and to brought some napkins for us. The food was salty and asked to please get it fix or bring another one and I had to pay double for it. Besides all that if you have CHILDREN DON'T EVEN TRY TO COME HERE, especially if has any type of behavioral problems, they would care for people that don't understand your child and for you to control your kid, in other words they care more about their complaints instead of yours with a special child. For me that was the cherry for the icecream that make me do this complain. Really if you have a child with behavioral illness but you can control with music or anything a little noisy for boring and careless for kids people they would ask you for the child to stop whatever noise instead of explaining people that could be a kid with autism and relocate them to another table, like I said at the beginning the place was almost empty and there were lots of empty tables and also the place has two rooms.
