I visit Wendy’s pretty frequently. I live about 5 min from the florida city location and about 10-15 minutes away from the homestead hospital location. When time is not an issue I will choose going to the farther location 10/10 times. The florida city location really needs to have a clean house because the service is absolutely horrendous. The last two times I’ve had to visit this location one of which being today the same girl has helped me and the same girl is rude as hell and completely incompetent in how she does her job. The first encounter I had with her was a couple of months ago when I went for breakfast through the drive through. I always order 2 side of honey butter, I’m fully aware that it costs .50 per each side. I order the same order as I normally do.. I don’t pay attention to the price. I ask her when I get to the window “did you put the honey butter?” She responds “si” with an attitude.. which is fine, maybe you’re having a bad day I understand. As I’m pulling out of the drive through I check and there is no honey butter. Now there is quite a long line so I now wait about 10 more minutes for my two sides of honey butter.. when I get to the window and explain that I never received it she says “well you didn’t pay for it” which at that point wtf and I told her “I understand but I told you several times and it’s not my fault you didn’t do your job properly. I don’t feel like I should have to pay 1.07 now because you didn’t do your job” she responds with “if you want it, it’s 1.07” I was upset but I paid and went on my way. Now today another terrible encounter with the same cashier.. I order in the window. I order a side of just biscuits and gravy.. get to the window and pay and look in the bag and it’s a sausage egg and cheese biscuit.. I than tell her, What I ordered was the sausage and gravy biscuit.. she looks at me like I’m a lunatic and it’s never been on the menu.. the manager has to come over and tell her what it is I’m trying to order.. I’ve already paid at this point for an item that was a couple dollars more expensive than what I ordered.. she than tell me to just pull up and the biscuits and gravy will be out shortly. I tell her “no ma’am you charged me more than what I should have been charged.. I need the difference in money back now” she rolls her eyes and goes to retrieve her manager again.. it is just absolutely insane to me that in both circumstances she was completely at fault and completely rude.. first time didn’t want to compensate me 1.07 for my inconvenience and the second time didn’t even want to give me the money back that I was over charged. If you have the option to avoid this Wendy’s please do at all costs! On my receipt it shows her name was Melissa.. please Wendy’s.. replace people that have no customer service. There employee messed up my order I'm not making the line again. Then the one who took my order came over to tell me I didn't order one of the only two thing I order after explaining to he/she 2025 is confusing but I don't judge starts getting loud and I've only said it several times at this point it was a small chilli so after I proved my point that they clearly not paying attention to the orders the manager it looked like and the employee walked away storming off as if I was some animal but the nice young lady that the second window helped to make everything right give her a raise didn't get her name but she had hair curls two one on each side of her face she handled it like a pro where the one who messed up my order didn't even apologize for not paying attention and fix the order instead she decided to try and save her own butt and try and make it my fault but it clearly didn't work fire your slacker who play on there phone and get better customer service fun fact I asked for BBQ sauce I got honey...
Read moreTerrible experience. We were passing through and decided to stop at this Wendy's. We stood inside at the register for 10 minutes. No worker even acknowledged us or said they'd be right with us, even though they saw us there. I saw other customers standing by the mobile pick up sign, so I thought maybe I had to order online only at this location. When an employee came over to drop off food for someone picking up, I had an opening and said, "Excuse me, am I able to order in person or do I have to order online?" The employee was very rude and stated that they can only take 2 orders at a time so to be patient (yet we were the only people in the building who hadn't ordered yet.) I responded with, "I was just asking because I honestly didn't know the process here." The employee said something else rude and a customer beside me picking up was very friendly and told me that I could order in person.
