My experience at this MOD Pizza location was so frustrating that I feel obligated to share. I placed an online order for six pizzas, a salad, and a fountain drink. When I arrived, they handed me the order but completely forgot the drink. When I asked about it, they casually said, “Oh yeah, the fountain drink machine is broken but we have tea.” No heads up when I placed the order, no sign, nothing. I asked for a refund for the drink I wasn’t getting, and the employee told me, “I can't do that, sorry sir.” Excuse me? I paid for something you can't provide, and your response is “too bad”?
I asked to speak to a manager, and they pointed to someone at the register who didn’t even acknowledge me at first. While waiting, I checked the pizzas and realized several were made wrong or were missing toppings. When the "manager" finally did speak to me, they repeated the same excuse about the drink and said the only way to remove it was to refund the entire order and charge it again. I agreed, but then asked about the missing toppings only to be told they ran out of some ingredients. So why not call me? You had my phone number from the online order. Their solution? “We can change it for something else.” At this point, it was pointless my wife and kids were already waiting and hungry.
In the end, they offered to credit me one pizza, but the whole experience was so badly handled it just made me more frustrated. I wasn’t just disappointed with the mistakes I was angry at how little accountability or empathy the staff showed. This wasn’t a busy night or an honest mistake it was just poor communication and poor customer service across the board. If you mess up an order, own it and try to make it right. Instead, they acted like I was the problem for asking basic questions.
I’ll never come back to this location again, and if you’re ordering online or from out of town be warned you might not get what you paid for, and you definitely won’t get decent service when...
Read moreThe employees there are wonderful. But, the manager needs to be fired. My husband and I have been to MOD Pizza in Seattle. We stopped at this location at 9:15 pm they closed at 10:00 pm. The manager refused to sell us a Greek salad because she told my husband the salad was for the following day. Before that, she told my husband not to talk to her and talked to the gentleman who was making my pizza. I think her name was Sasha. I heard her and my husband, so I stepped in woman to woman. I told her we were here standing way before she started to cover the salad section. So, uncover it and make the salad. Sasha, you're one hundred wrong. She said that she would have to go in the back to get the lettuce. The lettuce was right in front of her. Sasha, my dear, that's called doing your J-O-B. She was pissed because she had to make the salad. The employees' faces looked shocked. MOD Pizza, please fired this MOD KAREN.... the salad to the right is what she made from the...
Read moreI’ve been to MODs previously it wasn’t my first time. I’ve been to both locations in Orlando and a few locations in Houston. I ordered online and walked up to see if my order was ready to then rudely be told by an employee “don’t you see that there is a line and that we are busy”.
Now I understand that they were a little busy however there IS A WAY TO DELIVER A MESSAGE TO CUSTOMER WITHOUT BEING DISRESPECTFUL. Due to this employees attitude I no longer felt comfortable accepting my order and wanted a refund. When I told the employee this she then told me my food is in the oven with the same energy she had when I first approached her. I decided to let it go and accept my order. I requested sauce on the side in which she disregarded the note on my order. When i told her she said she didn’t see it.
I still enjoy getting MODs however i think this should be addressed as no customer deserves to be talked down to when they are just trying to...
