After ordering a pizza at the counter my husband and I went to get a table only to notice a lot were not wiped off. A few minutes later the same employee that took our order was arguing with a male employee and it was very noticeable. Minutes before that, one of the employees walked out for about 2-3 minutes only to come back in and go straight to our pizza that still needed to be cooked and man handle (several times) our pizza without first washing her hands and/or put gloves on! It was then the pizza went in the oven. We knew this was our pizza because we sitting across from the oven and could see and hear their conversation of how our pizza was to be prepared with certain ingredients on it. We knew when we saw this happening we were not going to eat that pizza! I approached the girl who took my order and acknowledged the problem. I told her I saw exactly what happened and the employee did not wash your hands or even put gloves on. She was extremely rude and told me their hands were clean! 😳. Really!?!? I then said I would like a refund. She turns around to the other employee and said in a Condescending manner , She wants her money back!!! The other female employee who handled the pizza refunded me the money without a problem. The whole experience was very unfortunate because my husband and I loved to go there and eat pizza but...
Read moreI'd like to preface this review with a little background on myself. I worked in the food industry for over a decade, on all levels before transitioning to a different career field. I try my best to understand and give food workers the utmost benefit of the doubt because I've been in their shoes. With that being said, the food was great. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The woman working at the cashier on Aug. 10th, 2024, at around noon was extremely obnoxious. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, she yelled "hola" at me. Which is fine. I have no problem with that. I proceeded to order in English, in which she began replying back to me in random phrases in Spanish. Such as just saying "adios" and "como esta" randomly at me, knowing I just spoke to her in English. I would be fine if she was engaging in casual conversation with me in spanish and taking my order in Spanish, but to be arrogant and obnoxiously, just saying random phrases at me in Spanish is rude. Other customers in the store at the time also witnessed this, and you can see they were a bit uncomfortable as well. Just some additional information, I did remain calm and kind to her through this, but she does need to be retrained in customer service. The 1 star on service and atmosphere is solely...
Read moreI came into the restaurant to use the restroom and on my way out was I accosted by the lady up front who was apparently upset with me for using their non public restroom. She had a horrible attitude and gave me an earful. I’m not even sure if there’s a sign or anything stating that their restroom isn’t public. (Maybe there is idk I didn’t see one but I was in such a rush to get to the toilet I could’ve missed it) I can understand why the bathroom is only open to customers, many businesses do this because people tend to leave bathrooms disgusting and don’t pick up after themselves & for maintenance. What I DON’T understand is her disgusting attitude. If she had simply told me that the restroom is only for customers then I would’ve understood and explained to her that I’m a disabled veteran that requires immediate access to the closest restroom. Heck! I probably would’ve bought some pizza. But since she felt the need to be so rude & aggressive I didn’t feel comfortable carrying on a conversation with her any longer! I wish just that woman could’ve been more cordial and not jumped down my throat for an innocent mistake. Being polite goes a long way & there’s no reason to mistreat people who haven’t done anything to you just because you’re...
