The Wine Bar is Destin is one of our favorite spots. The ambiance is casual. The food is excellent and there is a good selection at lunch with a lower price.

Also, there is a reduced price on the wine in the afternoon. There is a carafe of wine available for the price of a glass. In effect, there is two glasses of wine for the price of one.

My favorite is the cabernet but there is a considerable selection of other wine as well. At lunch, the two glasses are enough for two people to each have one glass.

One of my favorite dishes is the French dip sandwich with au jus. It comes either with chips or salad. The salad is always fresh and includes cucumber and carrot.

The au jus is sometimes too salty; at other times is is perfect. The sandwich is quite large (about $20) and large enough for two people to split. The server will gladly bring a plate and the kitchen will split the sandwich and salad.

Service is always friendly. It is usually quick and efficient. Sometimes there are large groups and that will obviously slow down the lunch. As we are normally in no hurry, this is not a problem but could be for someone on a tight time schedule.

It can get loud in the restaurant, particularly with a group that has 2-3 glasses of wine. Just consider it part of the ambiance.

The restaurant is tucked away in the back of the wine store and craft beer eatery. It is worth...

Gentleman we met at LensCrafters recommended this place. Started with the hummus with pita bread and cucumbers. The pita bread was pillowy soft and the hummus had a hint of sweetness. With the cucumber, it was quite delicious. I had the roasted cauliflower. This roasted cauliflower is not anything to laugh at. The purée with the harissa added so much depth to the roasted cauliflower, arugula and almonds. It was the most delicious meal I have had in Destin. Probably the most delicious vegan meal I have ever had period. Husband had the chicken club and he said the complexity of the aioli was so perfect and it was also the best club sandwich he has ever had. Son had the French dip. It was so full of meat and he said the flavors were very good. Then, that gentleman from LensCrafters was there! He said he used to run the place before moving to a different location. Best recommendation ever! Thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Favorite meal in Destin. Thank you to this gentleman-we did not...

This was on a Wednesday, so we had an "All day Happy Hour Prices" for wine carafes, so we were obliged to take this offering . We also had the baked bri with thinly sliced apples which was amazing; so, we WILL head back here for MORE of THIS appetizer 😊 . My husband had the lamb chops and said they were 👏amazing. I had the red snapper and it was ok...but, not outstanding (a bit dry to taste...but, I have gone to MANY restaurants to compare snapper across the coumtry.); it was fine, just not something I would require havinv to head back to the restaurant as a "Must Have" . The waiter was MUCH MORE attentive/wise to customer appreciation than the waitress ("server"), but maybe she was new to this biz(?). But, all in all, it has a good vibe for sipping wine with a dinner and relaxing on a weekday. We enjoyed our 2nd time to this Wine Bar and we will return as we have moved permanently to...

Wine Bar Destin is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and expertly curated wine selection set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The charcuterie board is nothing short of perfection—thoughtfully arranged with premium cheeses, cured meats, and delightful accompaniments. But the true star of the show? The tomahawk ribeye. Cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Whether you’re a wine lover, a foodie, or just looking for a top-tier dining experience, this place delivers on every level. Highly recommend!
