Disappointing from start to finish. My mom and I visited this restaurant expecting a great meal after a day of shopping in Destin because we go to the fort Walton beach location often. But it was nothing short of a disaster. The nearly empty dining area on a Saturday night during peak tourist season should have been the first red flag. I ordered a toasted marshmallow espresso martini, only to receive a drink filled with coffee grounds—so bad I had to wash The one sip I took down with water. We aren’t the people to complain, I am a bartender at a college bar and thought I had misread the menu so I figured I’d ask if that was purposeful. When I asked for clarification, very politely I might add, she immediately seem to know what I was talking about and I was told the coffee had "settled” since it was made that morning and that I had gotten the last dregs. The remake was partially spilled on the way to the table by the manager, and when she sat it down her only comment to us was that she now owed us another one. That third drink never arrived and nothing was said about it by the waitress or manager. The partially spilled remake arrived without any espresso at all, just vodka and cream liquor. No explanation, no alternative offered—just a poor attempt at a half made cocktail dropped at our table. We continued to express gratitude to the waitress for her service every time we interacted with her. And yet service was as dismal as the drinks. My mom’s salad arrived without dressing, and getting our waitress’s attention took forever despite her standing at the next table over (seemingly her only other table) chatting long past her taking their orders. My mom’s entrée turned out to be inedible, and our waitress did not check on us after the dressing was dropped off. She did not come to see if we liked the food or how the partially spilled drink turned out. When she finally came back to the table it was to clear our plates. my mom’s plate was uneaten and the waitress’ only question about it was to ask if she needed a box not to inquire about the food itself. She then followed that up with gesturing to my untouched drink and stating "I guess this drink wasn't good either"—as if that wasn’t already obvious. The only small mercy was that the waitress told us the manager removed the charge for the failed martini when she dropped the check, but even that was framed as a favor rather than the bare minimum. We left completely unsatisfied and will not be returning. Terrible drinks, terrible food, terrible service. Avoid...
Read moreI’ve been to craft bar around 10 times, I love the burger and almost all the food I have gotten there is very good. I’ve been on burger Mondays before I know they can get a little chaotic, but last night was super unprofessional and I don’t think I want to go back before speaking to a manager.
We walked in and got a seat at the bar, I’ve always gotten good service there but the bartender was automatically yelling at us that she was busy and to bear with her. Cool, I’m a bar tender also I understand, I can wait I knew it would be busy in there. I just order a sprite and my friend orders a cocktail, cocktail was good. But then she proceeds to scream about how much she is getting her ass kicked and screaming about how she wants be ran over by a car instead of being there, shot in the head, fighting with her husband at work,Even the bar back told her she was being mean, and she just kept going on and on about how she was in the weeds screaming and cussing. Very unprofessional, my friend even got up to ask to sit at a table instead and the hostess was also rude telling other employees to get out of her way.
I’ve just never experienced anything like that there, you should not make your customer feel like a burden,my parents owned a restaurant for 15 years which I worked in for 10 and I understand the feeling of being super busy but I’ve never acted that way in front of customers. I’ve even tried to apply as a bartender at craft bar before so that just makes this even more disappointed cause I’d never treat my staff or customers like that. We just threw money down for our drinks and left. Very disappointed considering it’s one of my favorite restaurants to go...
Read moreI did a little research online while in Destin looking for a good burger place and from everything I read this seemed like a good place. Wanted to order carry out and based on their website this was not a problem. When we arrived I was greatest by the hostess and was directed to go inside to the bar to order. That's when it all we wrong. We were told by the bartender we could not get a to go order. They said they were too busy and the chef would not accommodate. I was rather perplexed by that statement and said we were willing to wait and would have a drink at the bar. I asked them to bring me the food and to go containers and said I would package it up myself. Truly I didn't understand why this was even an issue. We were there about 7 PM and the restaurant and bar were at about 40% capacity. It went down hill fast as we sat at the bar having a drink waiting for our food. Another customer came in and sure enough they brought out their food neatly packed TO-GO. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. When I asked the staff about this they said they had ordered 5 minutes before we walked in. Ok.... When they eventually brought out our food they set it down in front of us without to go containers and at that point I asked for a manager. The assistant manager Matthew came over with an attitude and basically started to raise his voice at us as if we were the ones that created the problem. At which point he told us to take our food and get out. Don't know what else other than this was bar far none the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. The food maybe.good, I wouldn't know we got up and left but I can say with comfidence the customer...
