I never give ratings like this but the experience was so bad that I need to say something. I brought my dad to this place on our stay in Fort Bragg. The ratings seemed great. We were seated and the waiter just left us sitting there. He did not say anything just wandered off. A waitress came by to take our order about 15 minutes later but then said as we were finally about to ask for coffee and water that she actually couldn’t wait on us because this was another persons table. She just walked off before we could even say anything. I finally flagged down the guy that had seated us and asked him if we could please get some water and coffee and went ahead and gave him our order. He came back 5 minutes later with 2 waters and only 1 coffee. My dad said well I wanted a coffee too can I please get one? The waiter said sure and then wandered off again. He never came back. I finally saw him on his way helping other customers that were there after us with their food … let’s just say I’m not sure what drugs he was on or what he had against us but the waiter staff were both awful. The food was ok. It comes out on paper plates. We will not be back . When you have staff making 18 to 20 dollars an hour and then wanting an 18 % tip for all customers their service should be on point. I still tipped this jerk waiter and I’m not sure why I did. It was a very upsetting experience and stressful and embarrassing to me having brought my dad there . Never again. This was my second time in this restaurant but I won’t be back and will...
Read moreFist time in Fort Bragg, this spot had the most and best reviews for breakfast. We got seated fairly quick and everything was fine. We place an order for our toddler first so he doesn’t wait too long to get his meal and we placed ours right after. It honestly felt like nearly an hour passed and there was no update on our food. I asked and the server told us they have a small kitchen and so it takes longer. I get that but the couple who came in after us and was seated had already eaten their meal and it seems like everyone else did too and it wasn’t as busy anymore as it was when we came in. Clearly he was either covering up for the fact that they messed up the ticket order or simply forgot our order all together. My husband was getting really upset and was about to walk out but my son had to eat so we stayed. The eggs Benedict with crab and ham was good but way too heavy on the hollandaise so much so that I had to scrape it off, the potatoes were over salted, and over the food was nothing special. I am being nice to give the three star. We did the ink the concept of the wizard of oz theme as catchy and cute. Oh and by the way if you are over 5.5 feet tall good ouch getting inside the bathroom in the back it’s almost as small as the one we have...
Read moreAfter traveling down the coast and eatting hotel food, we were in the mood for some good breakfast. Upon our arrival their was a lot of people outside waiting and our wait was about 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic. Restaurant is very small and narrow. There is a Wizard of Oz because their bathroom is through the kitchen and a yellow painted line leads you to a bathroom outside.
I saw some reviews about the Eggs Benedict but should have read more. Server asked if we wanted coffee and we politely said yes...not knowing it was $3 for bad coffee. Once our food came I was perplexed? The hollandaise sauce was white which I've never seen before. I thought perhaps they use egg whites? The taste was that of SOUR CREAM!!!. The server check on us and I asked if this was hollandaise? She stated they use the whole egg. A whole egg would not make it white as the ingredients are yolk, butter and lemon juice for a hollandaise. The poached egg were over hard as well and I couldn't stomach the warm sour cream mixture. This overall experience was $20.
People who rave about this place seriously are lost in the land of Oz. If I only had ruby slipper and could click my heels to make this experience...
