Friends suggested we go here after Band Practice. My fiance loves Calzones, so we figured it would be a winner. I currently have gestational diabetes, so I couldn't partake (even though I enjoy them too), but I figured a pizza-type of place would have wings, so it would be fine.

The meals came out one at a time. It first friend hit his Calzone about 10 min before the rest of us, so he waited a bit to eat with us, but not knowing his much longer it would be and not wanting his food to get cold, he finally started eating. He was almost finished once our other friend got his Calzone, and was done by the time we got our food.

The menu is "zone" themed for the CalZONES (ie: End Zone, Twilight Zone, Buffer Zone, etc) which was cute. My fiance got the Combat Zone, which looked like it has lots of great meats. The cheese smelled delicious. Unfortunately, he said it was "just ok.. wouldn't go back for it."

They had boneless and traditional options, as I expected, and there were several good looking flavors, so I thought it would work out. I always go traditional, and they had a 6pc for $9.50 and a 12pc for $15.50; the latter seemed perfect. I asked if I could do the 12pc and have 3 different flavors, but the guy taking the order said no. I asked if I could do 2 flavors, so he said he could, but he'd charge me for 6 and 6 ($18 total). I don't think it should cost $2.50 extra to wash one more bowl for coating wings in flavors (nor would I have cared if it were done in the same bowl), and I don't think my request was unreasonable. I was dissatisfied that I would have had to pay extra just to get a little flavor variety with what little I could choose from on the menu. There's no good reason he couldn't have worked with me. I didn't want to inconvenience the rest of our party with my dietary restriction due to pregnancy, so I bit my tongue, and ate crow. Not the meal I was...

Hey I love DP dough. I think you have the best sauce.. Just the right amount of sweetness and herbs makes the perfect taste. I've been eating your cakzones since '99 back when there was no dine-in option and every calzone was 5 bucks and there were no other options on the menu. Just cakzones. Just 5 bucks. Simple and delicious as always. Well I visited the the store tonight and had an awesome Maui Wowi with Jalapeños and shared it with my wife and had an IPA to wash it all down. I just wanted to mention I was sort of shocked that one of your workers was taking money from customers and not changing her gloves and going right back to the line. The. She was touching her phone and again going right back to the line. Another gal is not wearing a hat or a hair net. Our hair naturally falls out and who wants that in their food.. And what's the point of wearing gloves if you're.just going to handle money and your phone and then our food. Wiping their noses on their arm. I'm not as upset as my wife who worked in food services as a manager for years. She was pretty disgusted. Now another guy doesn't even have gloves on.. Just thought you'd want to know about this because if it was anyone from the health dept they'd probably shut you down. Hey, I love your food and this isn't.going to stop me.from eating there but my wife is appalled. Hope you'll step it up and address these...

Disappointed in the direction it's going. The prices have raised several dollars, they are charging more for everything. A calzone is up from $5 to around $8, toppings are almost a dollar extra, even if you substitute them, cookies are somehow 3 for $4, which is the price I could get an entire cookie dough tub from the grocery store, and drinks are over $2, which is the price of a two liter.

We didn't go for a while because they nickle and dimed us on a few things last time we went, and we went back last week. It was $10 a person even with a coupon for a calzone and a drink. The place is cleaner and has a new paint job, which is nice, especially since their old bathrooms were once akin to a gas station, but now they just don't lock.

All the things that made it feel like a home town joint are gone - they took down all the photos on the wall of customers, they only play bad electronic music, they only have the sports channel on. I used to go enough that I knew people's names behind the counter, and the music and atmosphere was nice and welcoming and it was a great place to be after a day on campus. Now it feels like a dude bro pizza place and lost all it's character. Probably won't...

I like the food, but the odds of getting non-standard requests acknowledged is about 50/50. For example, you are allowed to substitute an included sauce when ordering online and the change is clearly noted on the ticket. You can also add a note to the item (as I always politely do since about half the time I get the incorrect sauce). This doesn’t seem to help much either (see image). More recently garlic parmesan breadsticks lacked all garlic and parmesan (just buttered bread), which was also a letdown (see image). The price has gone up for most things on the menu, while the quality has gone down. Same story as many places, I guess, if you go there for long enough. I do like that they do their own delivery instead of using a third party service and that the delivery fee is reasonable. It usually takes a little over an hour from the time you place an order until delivery, which might be too long for some, but doesn’t usually bother me. There are a lot of choices for calzones.

This place is my vegan dream come true! I come down to Ft Collins every 10 weeks so my kitty can see her CSU cancer team. And this is the meal I look forward to every time. I love being able to make a build-your-own vegan style. Thank you! ( I know it's an odd one -- vegan cheese, mushrooms, pineapple, olives). Tonight, the vegan cheese sticks are divine. I had to call and confirm that they truly had no dairy in them as they smelled and looked like cheesy (dairy) bread sticks. Delicious! Thank you! Frisco, CO should take some vegan notes from Ft Collins. 🌻
