This used to be a favorite place of mine, but after several bad experiences recently, I do not plan on returning. The reason I decided to make this review is due to the terrible service and rude behavior received by the staff on 9/9/21 at around 12:30am. A friend of mine ordered a sandwich and explicitly asked for no bacon on his sandwich. After patiently waiting for about half an hour, he received his sandwich which unfortunately still had bacon on it. He told the server (who was initially pleasant) that he requested no bacon and she rudely snatched his plate and stormed off. Several minutes later, she returned with the same sandwich with a considerable amount of bacon left on the sandwich. When he went up front to explain that the sandwich order was wrong once again, he explained to the staff that he cannot eat pork due to religious reasons, which is why he made this reasonable request. The staff thankfully refunded his meal, but they informed him that they will not be serving him any food. Not only was the rude behavior unwarranted, but it is completely asinine that your staff refused to accommodate someone’s food for religious reasoning. This is point blank religious discrimination and should not be tolerated whatsoever.
Additionally, I woke up this morning with food poisoning from the simple chicken tenders I ordered that were full of grizzle and uncooked breading. I also ordered wings from here several weeks ago right when the store opened, and it was evident that the wings were old, refried with new breading, and thrown in some extra sauce. Thankfully I did not eat these as I believe I would be sick like I was this morning. I believe the chefs should pay better attention to food quality rather than vaping in the back.
Severely disappointed that this restaurant has gone so far downhill and that the staff outwardly expresses their discrimination. I have worked both retail and food service, and this is completely inexcusable behavior. I hope something changes, but I will not support a business that discriminates against its own paying...
Read moreWhen we placed an order over the phone for delivery we were explained that it would take an hour for them to deliver it which is not an issue, as we do this often. After 1 hour and 20 minutes we called back to see if they needed further directions to the apartment and the girl who answered the phone said "no that the driver left a few minutes ago and they were on the way" they also explained that there was only one person in the kitchen while taking orders and one driver out delivering which again is understandable for the one hour wait. After 2 hours of waiting we called back a second time asking if they were still delivering the food. After introducing myself and explaining to the girl who answered the phone (same girl from the previous phone call) that we have been waiting for two hours for our food and was wondering what was going on. She explained she was doing her best she is making our food now and it will be delivered shortly. When I told her she stated that the food was already out for delivery she became very defensive and started to cop an attitude. When I asked her to cancel the order and was trying to ask if my money would be placed back on my card she hung up the phone and fat shack refused to answer any phone calls after that.
I would have picked the food up myself but due to my injuries I cannot drive.
This is by far the worst service we have ever experienced their but it's not the first time we have ever had issues.

Read moreI placed an order using Order Up at about 9:30 last night. Around 11, exhausted and ready for bed, I called to check the status of my order. The young man who answered apologized profusely for the delay and said my order would arrive soon and they would comp it. I thanked him and about 5 minutes later the food arrived.
Around 11:30 someone started banging on my front door! The driver for The Fat Shack was back and she told me I needed to give the food back to her because I was being refunded! I was completely shocked. I told her I already started eating the food and I didn't appreciate her banging on my door at this hour because I have children. She told me she still needed the food back. I told her to leave and closed the door on her.
I called The Fat Shack and spoke to a guy (not sure if it was the same guy from earlier) who told me I wouldn't receive a refund since I kept the food. I didn't request a refund in the first place, it was offered to me! Even if I gave the food back, it's not like they could resell it. It really felt like they were trying to "stick it to me" for taking the refund. I could hear the guy talking to his manager for answers to questions I was asking and he finally asked if I would like to speak to the manager and I said yes. The manager instantly became unavailable.
This was by far the rudest customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. And I work in the service industry! The food isn't anything to rave about, typical bar food. It used to be fast and hot but now it takes forever and the staff doesn't care about the customers. I will not be ordering from...
