Adam & Joe's Eatery & Catering — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

After craving a turkey burger for almost a week (on a diet) i decided to make today my cheat day. After looking through the online menu for the best burger. I decided on the Mushroom onion Turkey burger. I paid for it online around 11am and waited for my food. My burger arrived around 1pm as scheduled. The delivery guy called and i meet him one the lobby. I tipped him and walked off. Next thing you know the delivery guy is chasing behind me saying that my order is $13 and i only gave him $3. I told him that i already paid online. He immediately tells me it didn’t go through and that ((this)) happens all the time. I’m completely confused because when i paid earlier everything went through. I had to walk all the way back to my office retrieve my card and pay again over the phone (total inconvenience) . After giving the lady my card number 3 times the order finally goes through. Excited to eat my now luke warm burger-i reheated it and dove in. BIG MISTAKE!! First off it tasted nasty af!! Secondly my turkey burger had spinach rice pepper celery onions and some other ingredients in it. Seemed like a veggie burgers. I called and voiced my concerns the sweet lady on the phone asked if i could take a pic. So i did so no problem. But then i hear another lady say “yeah ask for a picture because she didn’t want to pay in the first place” !!! I was sooo shocked and asked the lady to repeat it because I didn’t understand how i didn’t want to pay when i already paid online accordingly to the website!!! How did i not want to pay when i provided my card number over 5 Times???? How did I NOT want to pay when the delivery driver already told me that this always hsppens?!?!?! So many questions!!! How DARE YOU TELL ME I DIDNT WANT TO PAY WHEN I TRIED SO MANY TIMES!!!???????

We went to a restaurant called Adam and Joe's Eatery and Catering in Fort Lauderdale, and this place was absolutely amazing. They have some really cool aesthetics inside the restaurant or sandwich shop. Not only that, but the owners tend to hang out there a fair amount. We had an opportunity to meet one of the owners, Jessica, and she was absolutely awesome. Great conversation, and she even provided us with some great information about Fort Lauderdale.

But aside from that, let’s talk about the food. The food here was so good, and the choices we had were outstanding. We ordered the [ Chicken Parm Toasted Sandwich ] and [ The Prime Brisket Sandwich ]. The food was phenomenal! We even had an opportunity to try the sweet potato fries with the chipotle dipping sauce. What! So good!

There was also a cookie that came with the meal, and this cookie was so good. I’m a sucker for chocolate chip cookies, but this one was delicious. We weren't even expecting to get cookies! Good things we were in a calorie deficit...

If someone is looking for a great food spot, whether it be a lunch, dinner spot, or catering for a party, this is the place.

This place has been around for 30 years, and when I tell you the food is amazing, the food is amazing. Fortunately, I came across a video on TikTok, which led me to give the restaurant a try, and I do not regret it one bit! The food is great! The establishment is great. The people within the establishment are great. Everything about this is five stars.

I feel so degraded I know the prejudice world we live in but for the owner of the business first off not to even acknowledge me as a customer did not greet me of any sort no matter the color of my skin and not to greet me properly he asked were I Denise here to pick up an order sorry sir I know you people say we all look alike but we really don't and guess what Adam or Joe I have my own name. Rather you know me personally or know me as a regular customer this is not my first time coming to your establishment. I was unaware that you're company is only taking call in orders figured I would run over there on my break to grab 4 cookies initially he asked what type of cookies I wanted when I started to tell him he cut me off and then said we don't take cash only credit cards I held my credit card up and said who said I was using cash he said well you gotta call the number for your order and then we will bring your order out to you and walked inside. Only for 4 cookies I was already there it was obvious I had no clue it was being ran like that. With all of the non customer friendly notes on the door stay outside don't touch the door etc he wasn't even wearing a mask but has the door covered with all of the red signs. Never felt embarrassed in that manor before especially from a insensitive owner as such. I will no longer be bringing my business or my co-workers business there any longer I will find cookies and etc else where.
