McDonald's — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I have been coming here for years. About three times a week I come and get my usual sausage egg and cheese McMuffin, hash brown, and a Frappuccino. And sometimes I’ll have a double cheeseburger and medium fry. Other times I just want a McFlurry. Always on my to or from work as it is by the bus stations.

Today I didn’t have my wallet on me and just really needed to use the restroom.

I politely asked the cash register guy he said no we have a strictly enforced new policy now where you must purchase something to use the restroom. I said I’m sorry I left my wallet at home but really need to pee he denied me again and told me to ask the security guy. So I did he denied me and told me the man sitting at that table is the head man so he definitely cannot make an exception.

I plead with security again telling him how urgent it is I need to use the restroom. He denies me again. So I turned around almost ready to leave. And I say to my self screw it I cannot pee my pants so I go to the big boss white man and I apologize for interrupting his meeting. I explain my situation. No wallet, but I reaaaallllyyyy have to use the restroom.

I looked so angry that I interrupted him and coldly stated this is my policy and I will not break it and then I was told to go use the restroom at the bus stop. I said I did try but they have it closed right now for some reason. I said I just really have to go and I’m on my way to a doctors appointment but I really have to pee. He had me escorted out. I had to pee between two cars and be embarrassed as two people saw me.

Not only have I suffered from a chronic condition that makes me have to relieve myself often. But I have been a long term customer with this location for going on 4 year now with the same order. I have even sometimes bought the person in front of me’s food who didn’t have enough.

I am so disgusted by the lack of humanity, respect, or care of patrons this location management and team displayed. I will not be back here for a very long time if at all. Say good by to my lousy $60xWeek.

You are probably the most disgusting manager or owner I could have ever met. While I am sorry you may have had to put that policy in place to protect your business and all that from the homeless or vandalism’s but I came in clean polite and desperate for you to allowed a regular customer use your restroom. And while I almost told you how often I come to your locations. I decided that I shouldn’t have to if you actually cared about you patrons that support...

We visited this location for drive through service. We had to go around 3 times because of multiple orders. There was an argument between myself and your shift manager "Simone" She had a whole attitude about the mobile app. She told me that it didn't matter that I placed a mobile order because we would need to ring it up again and that the app never worked during the day or at night. At this point I'm furious because they have signage on the windows and the parking spaces outside that reflect the mobile app being accepted here. I explained that in order to do the mobile app orders you need to recall the order and she told me that they don't recall orders there and that she didn't know why they even have that they accept the mobile app when they don't and that there was nothing she could do and proceeded to be very belligerent towards myself and my party. The frozen coffee I ordered was watered down from the ice being near melted in the McCafe machine and she didn't give me a straw for my order. I asked for my receipts for all 5 of my orders and she goes to the front counter to pull an entire pile of receipts to look for ours. Told me you gonna have to pull up and came to the 2nd pickup window about 3 minutes later and handed me 2 receipts for 2 out of the 5 orders. She immediately slammed the window shut and I backed up to the 1st window and she came to it and asked me "what do you need now" I told her that I needed the rest of my receipts and she smacked her lips and said how many orders did you have. At this point she told me I'm not doing anything else for you and you can talk to the police when they get here. So this manager called the police on me for asking for my receipt. I'm seriously appalled at this location, the manager and the lack of customer service and/or professionalism exhibited. I do not tolerate this kind of behavior and now since you all allowed it to happen further actions will be taken. I highly advise against visiting this location since they don't know how to provide any sort of acceptable...

I visited this place bc of the good customer service I’ve received in the past. I normally tip the good service and compliment how patient they are. However 1/12/2025 was a nightmare. I ordered my food; 3-cheese burger combos and 1 fish filet combo. I must admit that I was annoyed at the time of ordering my food and I felt the person taking the order was a bit impatient. I guess this triggered those taking the order and fixing the order to tamper with the food. The food I ordered was for ages 2 through 9. When the food was handed to me, I saw individuals in the background looking at me as though something was done to the food. They had this suspicious look on their faces. I saw a familiar face (short, heavy set light skin woman who normally takes the money through the drive thru), who’s always pleasant made a comment to one of the workers as though it was validated to do what was done. When I arrived to my destination to drop food off to kids who didn’t eat due to circumstances in their home, I found someone’s nasty glued eye lashes in my fries. The eye lash was huge, matted and dirty. The fish on the sandwich was cold and hard. When I called the manager, her words” I’m confused bc no has lashes on” although she agreed to be mindful of the bags going out, it appears as she thought I was making this up. I have a good paying job and do not want a refund. I stand by what is right/wrong. This was a disgusting 🤮 experience. The food was thrown out bc I do not want to contract any infections from the person who wore the lashes. Given the looks of the lashes explains what this person looks like and what they may be transmitting. This was not funny. Although I lost $40 I’m thankful this happened bc I now know why this location has 3 stars. I don’t want anything from this location and to the person who thought this was funny, you will see...
