The Coffee Countess here sharing my opinion and experience about one of my usually favorite fast food restaurants, Taco Bell.
Let Me tell you people I have one word about the service me and my family received at this particular location yesterday and that is: Disappointing! I usually enjoy all Taco Bells and have enjoyed this one before, however yesterday was another story.
My daughter, my partner, and myself pull up to the drive-thru window and the young man says over the order box, where I could hear no less, hurry up, so I say excuse me and he says oh I'm not talking to you Ma'am. Then he proceeds to talk to the other female employee I presume he was talking too. She takes over asking me what I would like so my partner asked for their new toasted cheddar chalupa box, because she fell in love with the taste. They said oh we don't have that box anymore. So my partner then asked if they had just the toasted cheddar chalupa itself and we were answered that that is the same thing as asking for the box and we still don't have that anymore. Even though the sign on the window is still advertising it. All the while you can hear the employees clearly playing around.
Hold up I know right now what you are thinking?! OMG why didn't you just drive off well for a few reasons, 1. We work as food delivery people part time and we had been working all morning without being able to eat ourselves, I know the irony, so we were starving. 2. It was time for my partner to go to her night job and this location is really close to there. 3. We are the customers we have the right to eat where we like without employees running us off. That's Why.
I am 47 years old and I have been working since I was 14 and I feel the way employees at many of these places get away with treating customers is deplorable. When I started working we where trained that the customer is always right and if we forgot that we became jobless fast.
What has happened to pleasing the customer so you can retain their business. I think many places are scrounging for employees so bad until they are dumbing down their customer service and allowing the employees to run the show so they can retain employees and many in the management positions aren't that much more professional. We have got to get back to a respectable level of customer service in this country. We the customer deserve to be happy where we spend our money.
The food we received was good so the entire experience wasn't a waste, but tighten up Taco Bell, We are...
Read moreI would choose a poorer rating if I could. We ordered chalupa boxes through Uber eats and we got nothing according to our order.
To start with we received beef instead of black beans. So you can imagine what that means to a religious vegetarian. Make no mistake, we’ve never had chicken so beef for us is a sin. To our horror by the time we réalisé we’ve had a bite or two.
Nothing else matters but from our drinks to our extra toppings to our sides nothing matched the order. I wonder why let the customer pick what he wants when you’re going to send everything else but that.
Disgusted. Upset. Infuriated.
I hope the management takes action on this for us Update (over an hour later) : Maria Ubrea (store manager) promised us à replaced meal. After waiting for over an hour, we called asking for the time it would take for it to be delivered and she says they wouldn’t deliver and wanted us to come over to pick it up.
That’s the height of insanity. After messing up our order so bad she asks us to pick it up and that too didn’t even bother to call us up. This is the worst take out experience ever. It’s sheer unprofessionalism!
Check out the pics and tell me if that looks like black...
Read moreI came here twice while visiting the hotel next door. Wasn't impressed either time. First time was for a late lunch and the cashier seemed to have an attitude as she was unfriendly and didn't have much patience. I ordered their new watermelon slushie drink (I don't normally eat here so sorry for not remembering drink names) without the candy seeds. It was good and got it quickly so just the service was bad. The second time I came in for a breakfast as I was waiting to pick up my husband from the hotel (Navy and they drop off at the hotel which is easier than getting through the gates and picking him up at his boat). This time the server was much more friendly so maybe the day before was just a bad day for her. However, this time I ordered some food and it wasn't very good. I got the breakfast quesadilla meal with an ice tea then walked back over to the hotel parking lot. The quesadilla was awful. The tortilla was warm but the insides were almost cold and the cheese wasn't melted at all. The tea was old. I don't know when they brewed it but it was definitely old as it had that certain taste old tea gets. So I ended up just dumping that out. The cinnamon bites were...
