arrive about 2:25p, alone, looked at the menu and asked if I could have assistance with the Chili App, manager was alerted and came over to assist quickly, by this time the waitress returned to take my order, I was indecisive but the young lady gave me a description of what came with each menu item, we both agreed fajita would be good, the salad came out 5 min later, 1). the wrong dressing was issued, the girl left very quickly and didnt get to correct, manage happened to stopby again, I said I order a different dressing, she then returned quickly, I look up and saw my waitress coming my way, 2) I ask for silverware, she reply ok, then left and went off to a table of six and begin taking there order, then went through the kitchen, I waited another 7min no silverware, the manager past by again, and I happen to catch her attention and requested silverware and again the manager returned quickly. 3) wrong food came out, I pointed this out to my waitress and she said oh you wanted something else. She took the order and while she stood still for a moment I seize the chance to ask for napkins. Now again, I am waiting on my food, while i waited the manager brought out queso & chips, by this time I have lost my appetit and just want to take things home. 4) I requested for napkins again, the waitress after the second time brought napkin back only after she took additional table orders. Food arrive with another person from the kitchen and 10min or so went by and she stopby to ask if everything was ok, I told her that I wanted a take home box, she replied, you full already, non of my food had been eaten, I packed up my dip & chips along with all my food, which was 1 full box of food along with a bag of chip & Picante, which was very odd to hold without a bag. I paid on the table app and as i was leaving the manager said have a nice day, she caught a glimps of what i was trying to carry out and offer to grab a bag. I declined and just wanted to get out of there. The manager need to retrain the girl so that she doesnt have to do the waitress job. 4...
Read more3/14/18 --- Our server, Jess, was absolutely amazing. None of what we were upset about had anything to do with her and her control of the situation. We were there for my aunt's 50th birthday and had a party of 19. We have been going to Chilis Burleson since we moved here 5 years ago, and we have always had good experiences. However, we have never had to wait 2 whole hours to be sat. It was ridiculous. We had a baby and a few elderly people with us, as well. We were told that a reservation of 20 people had been canceled and that we were next to sit down. All the while, 4 of our party left and the couple with the baby had to sit down in the cocktail area so that they could feed their special-needs baby after an hour of waiting. After 2 hours, the host (who I felt very sorry for), was able to arrange an area for 12 of us to be seated, NOT our entire party - or what was left of it. While we began to take our seats, the Front of House manager on duty was putting together tables for another party of 20 that called in for an 8:45 reservation, a reservation that was called in WHILE we were ALREADY WAITING. She NEVER came and spoke with us the entire time we waited. It was only until right before we sat that she actually addressed my cousin. How is it acceptable for this to happen? If I had made a reservation on my OpenTable App or called in while we were already waiting, would that have helped us to be seated more promptly? Possibly ahead of the NEW 20 person party that was sat and didnt have to wait 2 hours? This was terrible service. I don't know what the manager was attempting to do, but you could tell that her lack of experience and customer etiquette created the worst Chilis experience that we've ever had. If it weren't for fear of ruining my aunt's birthday, I would have walked out and taken my family elsewhere. I won't be wasting my money on sub-par food and service at this...
Read moreWe actually were turned away once we arrived. We had called on Friday to notify the management team that we had a party of 60 coming on Saturday around 1:30 pm. We also called on Saturday morning to reconfirm. Once we arrived, we were informed by a young and very rude hostess that they could not seat us at the same time. Then she called the manager, who confirmed that they could not help us since they only had 3 wait staff on duty. We let them know that we had called beforehand notifying them the previous day and then again on that morning. We also let them know that we could all split up in parties of four so it would be easier for them to seat our kids and parents. Meanwhile, while we were waiting, the hostess continued to seat other parties that were walking in that arrived after our party. When we asked, she replied very rudely that her manager told her to do so. We were treated very disrespectful and rudely by the hostess and the front of the house manager. Especially the young hostess, the manger was actually not saying very much, she kept looking away when we asked her any questions. She allowed the young hostess to be rude and disrespectful. We decided to go ahead and leave at that point. We decided that there was no reason to stay in a location where our party was getting disrespected and your manager ignored us and let some young child address us so rudely. It's very surprising to us that the store wouldn't want to make some money. Especially after we informed the restaurant two days prior and the day off that we would be arriving around 1:30 pm. Very surprising! I do want to thank you for your rudeness and unprofessionalisem because our kids saw how ugly people can be! Luckily, Cracker Barrel saved the day. We walked next door to the Cracker Barrel and were eating in less than an hour. Their staff was very welcoming and so happy to take care of our...
