I have been 2 3 Cristina's in Dallas-Fort Worth area it's a Mexican restaurant play Mexican music please not hard rock. the one over here in Alliance Center has changed hands several times I went there the other night and the guy that seated us was polite and then was rude as hell hid is face and wasn't a team player when all his co-workers we're trying to do their best and new waitress. I spoke to the manager she wants to do things behind the scenes she didn't train her waitresses or Waiters and then wants to say oh I'm sorry well the waitress was new I tipped her and her only I informed the guy at door and the manager that thing's needed to be done as a group and all people needed to be on board as a team if they wanted this restaurant to survive and the manager nodded her head and went back to her office chewed the waitress out even though she was new and wasn't trained so training and doing what is right to make a business good and to earn a living in a restaurant business everybody needs to be on board it's kind of sad so the manager and the guy at the door that wants to seat people need to step up to the plate if not then they need to go the food I didn't eat because I was talking to my guest and when I warmed it up the next day it tasted like an ashtray so maybe they need to wear gloves if they smoke or wash their hands I am thoroughly disgusted about the management the person at the door and the taste of the food and how there is no training for young people trying to be waiters or waitresses trying to learn the basics. How sad. Then pay 5$ for 2 teaspoons of guacamole. 80$ down the drain. Very...
Read moreFood was very bland. I had tortilla soup and it was so bland. The atmosphere was beautiful the waitress was nice. When we first arrived it smelled like an Iranian store with the spices they use.For a minute we were both like is this a fine dining Mexican establishment? The food was not authentic mexican food.Something strange about this place. I even googled the owner . The bill was a good 70 bucks but food was bland and tastes odd. It's OK to have one item that doesn't taste good but both our meals we were like this food is odd. The tortilla soup the waitress brought out a little canister and poured broth in my bowl of ingredients that made up the tortilla soup .So there was no taste to the soup. The ingredients of soup were not cooked in with the broth. Just odd and soup was Luke warm. Very strange experience and mind you we chose this fine dining for our anniversary dinner. My husband chimichanga was not hot and had some strange tomato sauce on top He said it looked like tomato soup from a can poured on it.Bland as well. We added salt and pepper to our food to get some type of taste to it. Very frustrating to spend that amount on a dinner to be disappointed. Especially our...
Read moreBiggest waste of $60 in this economy for dinner for two!! Not the best for a first time experience at Cristina’s. Starting with chips and salsa, the salsa was nothing extraordinary and there was no sign of it being made in-house. Queso fundido was good but I’ve had better elsewhere. I ordered Chile Relleno which is supposed to be an actual pepper with the stuffing but I guess they just try to fool customers by serving just anything because what I received was just a bunch of veggies stuffed inside God knows what but clearly there was no pepper. But the good part was that I requested to switch it to something else because I wasn’t satisfied and they were kind enough to do it and so I ordered cheese and onion enchiladas which were again not at all up-to the mark. It was just so surprising how someone can mess up a basic cheese and onion enchilada. This restaurant is NOT FOR VEGETARIANS because majority of food here has chicken base or some meat item, for example basic items like sauces or the basic rice has chicken base which cannot be eaten by vegetarians. All in all, the service and ambience were great but I won’t be...
