Love Shack — Restaurant in Fort Worth

This is located in the Ft. Worth stock yards. Lots of good places to eat and lots to do. The Love Shack is located between two buildings, an alley. I think they picked a good location. When we went in I noticed most of the patrons were just buying beer to walk around with on a Friday evening. I use a cane to walk around with, there are no tables or any kind of seating that does not require walking up or down very steep stairs. That was not great but I made it fine. The fans are the type that blow air and water at the same time; so much water that the tables were not just damp but wet with standing water (after 20 min your hair is damp). The guy at the front who I thought was just buying been to walk around with turned out to be one of the two guys cooking. The girl who took our order actually walked back over to the counter to look in the tip jar when I put the tip in to see how much I put in. That was just bad manners. The burger when we picked them up were soggy, all 4 burgers. I thought that when I read the other reviews that the other patrons were just too picky about the burger and restaurant. But as it turns out they were kind in their reviews. The buns were soggy, the meat was under cooked just warm not hot. The lettuce was wilted and the egg was very well done. I have seen pics of what they can serve and this WAS NOT IT! Felt very disappointed and will not be returning, there are too many good places to eat in the Stock Yards to worry about this. It was dirty, the stage looked like an abandoned porch and the only thing missing was a couch. I will say the fries were good (just different, thin sliced). We were taking day trips with our family around DFW and Austin to different sites and places to eat. Music and vibe were great. Food and service were probably the worst I’ve bet seen.

I ordered a simple chicken sandwich. My friend ordered a fancy chicken sandwich with boar bacon and a quail egg with sauces. Our whole other party had finished their food before the time we got up to ask about ours. They handed us a to go bag of cold and slightly soggy food. We opened our sandwiches to find one very simple chicken sandwich with no sauce and one with cabbage and a little sauce… I assumed the one with nothing on it was mine. My friend took back his sandwich because it was missing everything he had on it. Moments later, my friend comes to me and says “they asked me to bring down your sandwich…” (it was half eaten at that point). Now we are both without food. After a couple minutes my friend brings back and hands me the initial sandwich with cabbage and said the staff said this one was mine. A couple more minutes go by and my friend comes back up with holding same sandwich I had already half eaten of. They ended up just putting bacon and and egg on that one and calling it good. They were both the worst chicken sandwiches I’ve ever tasted in my life.

Extra sauce was also $1.15 and I think...

I've never had a horrible burger in my life until tonight...I've ordered a LOVE BURGER something simple and fast. We were listing to country music on a beautiful night out. Our number never got called out so I went to investigate why my number never got called out it was laying in the corner with a different number on it..I took it and though nothing of it. I open it, it was cold the fries were cold no lettuce or tomatoes like we ordered..we returned it and hoping for a new burger but they didn't now I was watching them. They open the burger and put them on the stove top to reheat the burger. I talked to the Manager on what I saw and told her. She opogized on what happened..apparently they were going to redue the burger with fresh meat but NOOOO.. when I got my order once a agian. So excited for a new fresh burger I got 2 meat burger and though Wow!! And upgrade on food. I though wrong the added another meat to the original burger to make it look like nothing happened I diffenrtly notice real quick. One meat over done and the other patry red.
