Placed a Curbside order 12:47PM while it’s raining with two small children in our vehicle. At 13:17 (01:17PM) no one showed. My wife goes inside to see what has happened. She was informed that they don’t go outside when it’s raining. (What policy is that) How many states do that? How many cities? How many McDonald’s in every city? Yah, not policy! So, no one comes to tell us. My wife tells them hold on and comes to get me. I grab our kids, carrying one of them through the rain while in their pajamas. Get inside and the food is not hot. They lied to us again saying they just made it. They came up with three or four excuses why they didn’t bring our food to us. By this time it was nearly 30 minutes later. This particular McDonald’s went downhill since 03/2024. It took an argument ((which I shouldn’t have to do (especially with my kids present) with mgr Tanya to at least get a refund)) and that wasn’t what I wanted. I just wanted a hot meal that I spent $30.00 on. Other employees were saying we just made it. My wife earlier asked for a tray to bring the big order outside, they refused that. Finally, mgr Tanya refunded and even made us the order again. The whole spectacle could have been avoided if they just brought the original order to us. (Remember this was placed as a curbside #2 order.) It could have been avoided if they said, “Sorry, we will remake the order.” Terrible customer service. It is appalling that there is no integrity. Read moreMy first experience here, I was served a well done quarter pounder. It was edible so I ate it, no real issue. On another occasion, I was served another well done quarter pounder ( yeah, I know I deserve it. I was crazy enough to expect a different outcome.) Having worked at a McDonald's for "a day", I know how to adjust the QP grill, but since no one else is complaining, maybe it's just me. On another occasion, I made my order at the kiosk, and it was one of those kiosks that say "we only take to go orders". (Hurry up and buy!) But unlike most McDonald's it did print me a receipt. (+1 pt) When I got my food and sat down in a mildly occupied dining area, most of which were in line waiting for their order to be taken (Because a kiosk is too fancy?), I noticed that I only had 8 nuggets of a 10 piece meal. If it were 9, I would usually write it off as the outcome of cheap labor, hell I never complain about 11 or that one time I got 12, but c'mon man you can't see this ain't right. Try again. So when I take them to the counter and explained my ordeal, 1 nugget fell out as the guy behind the counter took them to the back. Moments later, (8 moments not 2 moments) he handed me a box of nuggets. I sat back down, opened it, and counted nine, but ate none. Read moreWe arrived and placed our order on 7/28/2022 at 8:32pm. There were 2 cars ahead of us. One of those cars was told to go to waiting area 1, the other car was in the third pickup window waiting to receive their meal. We were told to go to waiting area #2.
After waiting for 15 minutes my wife went inside the restaurant to find out where our order was. She was told that McDonalds would have to remake it. We waited an additional 15 minutes for them to remake it. Once arriving home, we learned that our order wasn’t correct. To recap, we waited 30 minutes to receive a a food order that was incorrect. I’ve experienced the wrong order issue at this location other times but haven’t taken the time to complete a survey. This time was different, not only did we receive the wrong order we but our time was wasted waiting to receive the wrong order. I will no longer pull forward or wait in a waiting area to receive my order. I have no interest in helping the restaurant meet their drive-thru wait goal at my expense. I will be posting this review on Google as well as our neighborhood Facebook page with the goal of saving another family another terrible experience at McDonalds.
