Copper One Lodge — Local services in Breckenridge

Very Mixed Experience We rented two condos (1 BDR and 2 BDR) over Easter weekend 2022. This was mid-April and near the end of the ski season. The best thing about Copper One is the location. It is steps away from the lift. Ski lockers are on the ground floor and easily accessible using the room key -- not requiring a different key like so many other condos do. This means every member of the party can have their own access to the lockers. The units were nicely laid out and at first glance seemed to be in good shape. Unfortunately we had fairly major maintenance issues with both units. We rented through Copper Lodging and they could not have been better about handling the problems.... but it was disappointing to have two units each with major issues. I would rent there again, but only because Copper Lodging was so good at dealing with the issues. On a side note, we had rented two units through Copper Lodging for a stay in April 2020. When the mountain closed down due to the pandemic, Copper Lodging immediately refunded our payments. This may not sound like a big deal, since it is the right thing to do. I work in the travel industry and can tell you there were large numbers of people who needed to fight hard to get deposits and payments back from other travel vendors after things shut down. So .. two experiences with Copper Lodging and they showed very good customer...

This is advertised as one of the fancy lodges closest to the lifts. However, it is impossible to find or get into. The entrance is a tiny door far from the lifts, which requires key card access. There is no check-in on site, so you have to drive to a different building far away to check in. This is not clear unless you read down to the bottom of the fine print on the confirmation email. We were only able to figure this out by calling the central reservations number, and they were "duh, didn't you read the email".

We reserved a room, showed up at the building we reserved a room for, and were lost for over half an hour. There was no good signage or directions. We were told that we had a parking garage spot reserved, but there was no garage in the area that was available to us.

Overall, the entire sign-in experience greatly soured what should have been an exciting start...

The most beautiful place I've seen and the condos at Copper One are so comfortable and the shower with steam room was OMG!! Heavenly! There is so much to see and do and eat....right outside the door. So many shops and different places to eat it would be great for group...everyone would be able to choose their...
