I used to be a daily customer at this location, as I enjoy the offerings and coffees that Wawa provides. I will NEVER go to this specific location again. The Cashiers are worked to the bone with never-ending long lines...while the deli/ food service employees have the time to converse, laugh, and make fun of customers walking in/ through the store ( VERY unfair to those specific hard-working employees). If you bring up a concern or complaint to the manager, the best response you will receive is " It is, what it is" ! If they are ever out of beverage center supplies or coffeee....the deli/ food service employees will either ignore the request, or acknowledge you in a manner that speaks volumes about how much they either don't care, or just flat-out don't want to provide the customers with service/ supplies necessary. I used to think that maybe it was just my personal experiences, but I have to talked other family, friends, and colleagues that claim store #660 is one of the worst in the area. I wholeheartedly agree. It really does paint the picture that the employees are just there for a paycheck, and have no sense of pride in their work ethic, customer service, etc. I am definitely going to contact corporate on this one....I let it go for about 6 months...but NOTHING changes. It is unfortunately always the same 9-15 minutes wait for nothing more than a $2 coffee and bitter...
Read moreAfter working a 3 to 11 then on call overnight from 11 to 7 for two days, you can imagine my nights of no sleep. I went into this Wawa around 1230am during my oncall shift. I asked for something so simple regarding the deli and my order. Tiffany at the register was so helpful and tried to accommodate as much as she could. Then the Manager, Oscar appeared. So Tiffany asked him something then I asked him something and his reply was , Im extremely busy....,but Yea just talk to the deli!" He turned and walked away. I stood there frozen in time for a minute watching myself take all my frustrations out on him. But then I thought I'd just be him. I'm way better than that. Oscar as a manager was a terrible decision. If he cannot handle his work load and provide great customer service, which is only a small part, but most important, why was he hired with such a title and expectations? Tiffany at the register immediately apologized as Oscar walked away and witnessed the rage in my eyes. Treat people how you want to be treated or better Oscar. Thank you Tiffany for your conscious efforts in trying to makeup where people lack. Kudos to you as I see you are a great asset to the company or possibly another company since they're hiring managers like Oscar. I could only imagine what you go through shift to shift working under someone like...
Read moreI decided to review Wawa for two things: they have free air for my car’s tires (a lot of other places charge for air) and they have non-ethanol gas at the blue pumps. Non-ethanol gas is hard to find in Fredericksburg and that’s all I use in my lawn mower. The air pump is super easy to use: just dial up the correct air pressure and pump the air; it shuts off when it reaches the correct air pressure.
It’s almost impossible to head back into Central Park when you exit, so come here on your way out of Central Park.
If you need to go back, exit by Pier One (take a right) and take a right at the end of the street, by the movie theater. Eventually you’ll be back in Central Park,...
