This was a celebration for my husbands 60th birthday. There were about 20 professionals in our group of friends and family. (Global Presidents, NFL players, business owners). I paid $150 per table of 4 reserved which included $10 cover and one drink per person. Quite pricey but felt it would be worth it for. VIP
we all came together In an expensive limousine bus and entered the club. When I mentioned to the doorman we were the Lake party and asked how many had gone in so far in our party he informed he he was not paid enough to keep count. I had several people driving themselves and wanted them under a free cover. no big deal really I guess
We were to be there between 7 and 730 to guarantee our tables together I asked to be away from the front tables as we would enjoy moving around and socialising, not a problem I was told we really had a good time enjoyed the music and good friends. As hostess I visited people standing and sitting at their tables. Our young waitress seemed okay until a number of my guests told me she cut me off of service didnât tell me told my guests and wouldnât say why. I was not drunk we were so confused. I had six others in my family on my drink tab
I went to speak to a manager and he didnât know why either so brought her over and when I asked what happened she smirked and shrugged her shoulders...... what??? The manager said he had to back up his employees. I understand that to a certain degree absolutely but not in this case. As a result our 20+ guests immediately left in unison much earlier than anticipated. This was 10 pm I paid VIP and limo till closing which is 1 am my guess is they werenât getting the revenue in drinks from us as we were mostly a mature group and they wanted the seats for the fresh group arriving after the comedy club exited.
The 20% gratuity was already a given how do you think I feel about that on my credit card? Also as VIP guests we had not heard or seen the manager all night until this happened. My maturity when out the window as I was the last exit the group and gave the entire place a double fu including the number of obviously over served patrons shame on you Peteâs...

If I could 0 stars I would. I have been here several times no problems at all. I went last night with my sister and some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and what started as a wonderful night went bad when it came to closing out my tab. I had a random charge on my card before closing out my tab. When I asked the waitress Chloe she kept saying she had no idea. Her first excuse was it was the cover charge to get in. Thatâs not correct for two reasons which I told her 1) itâs $10 to get in the charge was for $22. 2) I never paid to get in because it was my birthday. Then they tried to say oh well when you have an open tab they run it for x amount . Thatâs not true either⊠again I have been here several times before. The manager Jay was extremely RUDE when we were trying to explain to him that what looked like happened was when my sister and I both gave our cards to our waitress me to open my tab and her to pay for a round of shots they ran BOTH of our cards for the shots (we have bank statements showing this and showed him) he continued to wave a receipt in our faces saying well you signed. When we were looking at the receipt he was snatch it aggressively out of our hands. That wasnât my signature it was my sisters because thatâs what was handed to her with her card. Every time we tried to explain that the waitress messed up and they needed to fix it and refund the double charge to my card he just continued screaming at us and hitting his hands on the counter. I have never delt with a âmanagerâ who was that unprofessional in my life! I tried to walk out and they ended up calling the cops to try to say it was theft for not paying my tab that I tried to close out. I wasnât about to pay them more money on top of what they charged me incorrectly.
Cops came and I did pay but I will be calling my bank Monday morning. Even the cops advised...
Read moreMy wife likes this place and maybe she'll be back - I won't be. To the owner and management - no need to respond. BLUF: Excessive musical range, uppity upscale area and atmosphere, too much song recycling within the time period, too much drunk jocularity, and over-reliance on audience participation. Details: I'll start with a solid positive - the service was great. We were taken care of very well by a few cocktail waitress and bus folks to help clear the table of empties. That was actually impressive. I've been to Pete's four times - three when it was in Addison and now once in Frisco. Especially in uppity Frisco at the Star Complex, where many socially posture and flex in their leased McLarens, Maseratis, Lambos, Porsches, etc, this shifted to less of a "dueling piano" bar to an upper middle class+ live sing along Rock Star with a bit too much show boating. Here's the thing: you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. They try to please everyone by playing a bit too much of everything. If I wanted to see a cover band, I'd go to Lava Cantina or wherever and see a cover band. These guys are playing the piano, drums, guitars, and even fiddles - shifting away from more Billy Joel, Elton John, and other piano - to covering everything from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and up, fiddling Charlie Daniels Band Devil Went Down to Georgia, to lead guitar playing Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne, to Ginuine, Run DMC, and other rap, Bee Gees disco - just all over, PLUS trying to be comedians and trying to get everyone to sing along to every damn song. I may be wearing, but this is not what I remember from Addison - not to this level anyway. After about two hours, several songs were recycled for a few stragglers that came in later. Most, especially in this area, may love it. I can only do so much drinking and party sing along - especially to about 1/3 of songs that I don't like and some I...
