So today I decided to go to Starbucks and get my usual Strawberry n Crème Frap with a toasted cheese danish. As usual the line is long which was no problem at all but when I got to the window the lady that took my payment was nice and she handed my drink and told me that my cheese danish would be right up. I said okay and thank you. She walked away and I waited…. waited…. waited…. and waited. I decided to ask the next person I seen that came close enough to the window. Big Mistake!!!! I got the Starbucks Karen! Yes Karen! I said excuse me, do you know how much longer on the cheese danish? No answer so I thought she couldn’t hear me even though she was right at the window. So, I said the same thing again only this time I did not get the entire question out because she cut me off and said “I DO NOT KNOW IM NOT THE ONE MAKING IT” and walked away. First this shows that she heard me the first time. Second there was absolutely no reason for that tone especially with a customer. Now if I would have gotten back with her and put her in her place I would have been the unruly customer. So I said nothing…. The same little girl that was rude came back with my danish saying here you go like she just didn’t have her Karen attitude. Although I did not get her name… like most Karen’s she was a blond she had on shorts almost look like a one piece khaki color or lighter, she had a messy bun on her top of her head she had her red eyeshadow which looked more like lipstick with black eyeliner in the corner or her eyelids brought me back to the Pat Benetar days. I’m sure if I was another color she would not have spoken to me that way, she was very comfortable in being disrespectful to me. I’m sure there are others she has disrespected she just didn’t know that I write reviews almost daily. Thank you Karen that I can write my experience at this Starbucks with you in mind. People of color beware. Not all employees at this location is like this but the blond with the messy bun and weird eyeshadow will be very disrespectful to you just for...
Read morePt. 1 If I could leave 0 stars I would. 1/23/22. I was absolutely disappointed in my service today at the 5506 Harvey st. Location Starbucks. My coworker had offered to get us all Starbucks and sent another coworker to pick up the drinks with a list of our orders. (An iced chai tea latte with soy , A Java chip Frappuccino,an iced caramel Macchiato with almond milk and and extra shot, and a mocha Frappuccino with chips). When he returned he had 2 correct drinks and 2 completely incorrectly made drinks. Our chai and Java chip were correct, and the other two were not even CLOSE to what we had ordered. one of them was a hot ?latte? I assume with almond milk, and the other was a choppy poorly blended “mocha” Frappuccino, with NO flavor in it at all. When we noticed the incorrect drinks my manager called the store to ask them about fixing our drinks and we were told someone could come back and get new ones. i ended up going this time (10:20am) and I went through the drive thru So I didn’t need to unnecessarily go inside. I pulled up and explained that my manager had called and I was there to get our drinks fixed. An older woman answered me with “so what’s your problem?” and “what are you talking about” when I restated why I was there and told her which drinks I was supposed to recieve she told me “we do not have a caramel macchiato” I asked her “you don’t have a caramel macchiato?” And she told me they were out of the drizzle for it. I then asked her if they just sent my coworker who had come previously back with random drinks instead of telling him they didn’t have it and she said “can you just...
Read moreA bad day at a Starbucks beats a good day at a Starbucks competitor. However, with thousands of locations, there are bound to be some locations that perform at a higher level than other locations. The Muskegon location consistently outperforms other Starbucks locations I have visited. The employees are friendly, customer oriented and anxious to do a good job. They cheerfully remake your beverage if you express the slightest bit of dissatisfaction. I recently wanted to order a drink I had before but couldn’t remember the name. I described the beverage and the cashier said she thought it might be a Mocha Frappuccino® Blended Coffee. She added if that wasn’t right, I could try something else. She wasn’t just giving lip service. After I tasted the drink, she made a point of asking me if I liked it. I should also add that I could not access my Birthday reward on my phone and she worked her cashier magic to give me the reward. Product consistency, nice people (nobody with an attitude here) and efficiency is what this place delivers. My expectations are always met. Some days, the Starbucks Vanilla that I brew at home just doesn't cut it. I drive 8 miles, past 4 Starbucks competitors to get a Flat White. Starbucks, can we have just one more Starbucks in the Muskegon area? Your main competitor here has two locations and is building a third. Have I ever had a bad day at a Starbucks? Yes, definitely. But it was better than a good day at ...
