If I could give a “0” I would. I filed a complaint with BBB and they did not respond so BBB is taking further action.
I went to zaxby's and there were about 2 customers. I had to wait an extended amount of time for my order to be taken. Once I placed my order, I had to repeat it several times but I did not mind because I had a special request and i wanted it correct. I got home, got the boys showered and in bed for school, then I sat down to have my dinner. My order was not what I requested.
I ordered boneless wings and received traditonal. My nibblers were not extra saucy as requested and my tenders were over cooked.. I called the store and spoke to someone who pretended to be the supervisior. She advised that if I did not have my receipt, I could not get a refund which i never mentioned.
When i proceeded to tell her she was not keeping my hard earned money no matter the value, she then placed the real supervisor (Kay) on the line. Kay proceeded to tell me the same thing. I told her that I did not have the receipt but I had just left there and I could show my card and the total from the credit card app. I even recommended that she perform an order search by using my card number.
She stated that I would not get a refund and blatanty disconnected the call. I eat at Zaxby's all the time and it is one of my favorite restaurants so I did not think I would need to keep the receipt nor did I anticipate having an issue with my order. My oldest son had burger king and he took the garbage out after he finished his meal.
This location is totally rude and unprofessional. I was never asked how I wanted this resolved. They have young kids and a supervisor that do not care at all about service.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND...
Read moreJune 2024: So today was a prime example of what I call "the Sunday difference." That's when you chose to go to Zaxby's because Chick Fil A was closed. Despite ordering online with everything in black and white, my wife's drink was nowhere to be found. I mentioned it and before I could ask for "no ice," a cup was whisked away and returned full of ice in the drink. Nitpick, I know. I figured that my wife could live with it. I went to my vehicle and checked the order and her fries were missing. I went back inside again, got the fries, and asked for a replacement on the drink with no ice. I got it, but also got a slight tinge of attitude for a mess up that wasn't mine. I was so focused on the food that I didn't notice that we didn't get our straws or sauces. Either way, there's always seemingly an issue with this location. Thankfully, I only need to go here when Chick Fil A is closed.
Update May 2025: I haven’t been to this location in a year but figured why not. Yup, nothing has changed. We ordered in person since we had trouble through the app previously. They didn’t put cheese and bacon on my wife’s sandwich and they couldn’t give me a large fry with my meal for some odd reason despite the ability for one to do so through the app as seen in the pic for the exact meal I ordered. I hope the Zaxby’s near my next house is more competent than what I’ve dealt with living in White Oak. The owners, management, and staff clearly don’t care, so neither should you. PLEASE EAT...
Read moreWe made an order online, said it would be ready in 7 minutes. Perfect, so we thought. We only live 5 miles away. Arrived and gave my name to receive the order. Was given our beverages and waited. Watched several people order and receive their food. Even saw large orders go out the drive thru. I admit I was getting quite impatient after waiting for 20 minutes. At this point, a new customer asked if I was in line to order. I replied that I had been waiting for 20 minutes for an online order. At that point, a cashier, overheard, and came straight to me. She asked the name on the order. Said she was going to talk to the manager. She returned and said that they were waiting on fries. I replied to her that she didn't have to say that, I know someone, on the backline, dropped the ball. I was told that it was what her manager told her to say. I could tell, she really didn't want to say that. Honesty would have gone so much further. Especially when I returned home,(8 minutes), open the to go plates to cold fries. At this point, I'm willing to drive the three miles further to Zaxby's in Clayton. This is just my experience tonight. In the past they were great. I believe that management has changed since our last visit. I hope that this doesn't happen to...
