Mad Dog's Creamery & Donuts — Restaurant in Gatlinburg

💕Let me start by saying the prices here are wonderful!!! That gets a 5⭐ it's self ...But anyways..I got the BEST MOST AMAZING FUNNEL CAKE in this ice cream and donut parlor just a few days ago it was AMAZING & THE BEST ONE IVE EVER SAW MADE!!! I'm kind of really picky about the cleanliness of the restaurant and the employees as well and I will say I thought I was going to walk in and at least a coupe things on the floor or counters but NOTHING !!💯 I want to say thank u to Dustin (the new guy) for an amazing mouthwatering funnel cake!!! I definitely feel as if he needs a raise for his job well done and not only that but he was very polite & respectful along with the other staff there as well !!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ANYTHING FROM HERE!!💯💯💯💚

Stopped in at Mad Dogs for some ice cream. Came out with nachos, ice cream nachos that is and what a great choice we made. Ordered the double nachos. Had 4 cones broken up and two huge scoops of ice cream. We went for butter pecan and mint chocolate chip. 4 people ate on this and were all satisfied. This is a "must try" if you are in Gatlinburg. They are usually pretty busy after 7pm but the waitress wasn't long. The entire inside was full of people in line, we were at The door and had our order placed and completed within 10 minutes. They have some indoor seating (highly recommend indoor, even though we are 100% outdoor people). Outside was nice but with all of the ice cream drips, the bugs were really bad. Maybe they could invest in a few bug zappers to make outdoor seating a better option. Will definitely be back next time...

We were visiting the Smoky Mountains and we love donuts, so tried out 3 places during our trip. This place is literally the best donut place we have ever experienced (family of 6). We loved it so much, we got donuts here three times. My 14 year old just said “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat donuts back home now.”

The texture and flavor are both amazing. Some favorites were maple bacon (often a disappointment at other places), the dream angel, and the cream filled with chocolate on top.

We regret that we didn’t ever get ice cream- our stops were all morning stops, but their cotton candy burrito looked pretty special.

This place is truly better than any donut place I’ve tried from New York to California. We had planned to do a pancake breakfast while in Gatlinburg, but our family decided to get donuts instead…...
