You should eat at Shoney's because it is an American classic, and the fact that I was able to eat here in 2022 blows my mind. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHONEY'S.

Guys... we gotta do a little better on that breakfast buffet. The coffee was mad weak, so much so I couldn't even drink it. The bacon was 90% half cooked, and the chicken tenders were bone dry. The best part of the buffet were the French toast sticks and those don't even take any kind of skill to get right! You're charging $13 per person to eat off of two tiny sets of hot wells, half of which clearly don't work well considering the temperature of the food, and you expect to thrive in a modern market?? I WANT Shoney's to survive. I want to be able to give my kids the same memories I have of being a little fat kid and feeling pure bliss when I discovered a breakfast buffet had fried chicken. I won't get that unless you guys step up your game! MAKE THE FOOD WORTH THE PRICE POINT, at the very least! Serve coffee that's drinkable if the customer is going to pay for it! If it's not drinkable at least give people free coffee. There's so many simple ways to improve your business 1000x over. Reach out to me if you have any questions, I...
Read moreWonderful wonderful experience, the best ever at a Shoneys. We arrived with just an hour before closing at 8pm. Usually we won't go that late but working as a craft vendor in the convention center, well, it's very close by and convenient after a long hard day. The place looked empty, but we popped in to ask if they were open. The waitress greeted us with a welcoming smile, her manager was equally inviting, but we were correct. The restaurant was empty of any patrons. After we took a tour of their buffet choices, we were in! The buffet looked beautiful! Clean, fresh turned pans, nothing dried out, looked tasty and it was full looking. Delicious! Everything was hot, tasty and wonderful. Our server was sweet, friendly and took care of us very well. As a prior restaurant owner with over 30 years experience, this Shoneys met and exceeded every expectation. Melissa was so accommodating and friendly. Patrick was the manager during our visit and he was exceptional as well. He made me some torpedo rolls, they are my favorite Shoneys signature item. They were so good! Probably the best looking buffet I've ever seen with only an hour left. Thank you Patrick and Melissa for making us...
Read moreWorst experience ever. My wife and I decided to eat here for dinner. Kinda nostalgic. We both got the buffet and expectations was high as that is how we remembered shoneys when big boy was around. Wow we was wrong. Salad was just awful. Lettuce didn't have any green in it, only the hard white pieces. They had fried catfish and shrimp. The shrimp was like rubber, the most over cooked dried out shrimp we have had. The catfish had a beautiful fry, but was raw inside. Fried okra was mush. Green beans tasted like cardboard. Mashed potatoes was like water as lady working kept pouring water in them to keep them creamy I guess. Told manager about issues and he flat out said oh catfish is supposed to be like like that in the middle, very pink and wouldn't flake. What a joke, im a country boy and catch and fry catfish at home. And when it's done, its white and flakes easily.a customer tells you food is bad and you tell the customer they are wrong? I hope and pray that isn't how shoneys as a whole feels. 1 star is too much for this location. Bad food and bad treatment is not...
