While traveling through this area, we decided to place an app order for a speedy drive-through experience. Boy were we wrong. It was a medium-sized order, 5 kids meals and just burgers for 3 adults, just over 40 bucks. I found this Burger King on the app about 25 minutes ahead of us and placed the order mentioned above a good ten minutes out, thinking that there should be plenty of time for them to have it ready. As we were pulling into the restaurant I wondered if they were even open because no vehicles were in the parking lot or waiting in line at the drive-through. This should have been a clue. I had to state my name several times for them to find my app order and I began to wonder if there was a problem with the app. Well thankfully, they finally found it and asked me to pull around. As I pulled ahead there were 3 cars ahead of me that I couldn't see until now. After a short wait, we arrived at the window ready to get our food and back on the road. NO. After another short wait, we were handed our drinks and got the dreaded "Can you pull ahead and we'll bring your order out." Oh no, not that. So we had no choice but to pull ahead and wait further. By now, almost 20 minutes had passed since I sent the app order in. After another 5 minutes of waiting outside, I decided to walk inside to see why it was taking so long. Only 3 young people were working and one of them walked out to the parking lot to talk with, what appeared to be his mom. FINALLY, after another TEN minutes, we got our food. Wait a second, the chicken sandwich was missing, good thing I checked. No problem, they were happy to get it after another 5-minute wait. So, the total elapsed time to get this order completed was around 35+ minutes. WOW! So much for "fast food". On the bright side, the...
Read moreIm not writing this to bash the associates we interacted with. They were all nice. This is more of a health advisory. First impressions are everything. We walk in, and floors are not swept/mopped. No clean seats or tables anywhere. However, my wife wanted your onion rings, so we proceeded despite me saying this isn't going to be good. I get a basic whopper, you know, the Home of the Whopper staple. Should be straightforward. Soggy/rubbery bun like it was dipped in water and thrown in microwave. So we go get our drinks and the station is a wreck. Not wiped down on the surface, my mello yello tasted off, but we moved forward. I go back for a refill, and bam, there it is a bug right out of the mello yello spout into my cup. So I ate a patty and fries and half a medium drink for $10.29, probably going to get sick. I was going to complain but the manager was in her office on a phone call. Nice people there, but there is no urge to keep the place cleaned in any shape. If the front dining area is dirty with hair and food all over the seats, just imagine how bad the kitchen is. No hair nets on either cook and shelves looked like they were not cleaned in a minute. At least gloves were worn, but damn, do they not do inspections on restaurants anymore. I get you are probably under staffed, but if you keep running the place like that, it'll be closed, and no one will have a job. It was uncomfortable and sad to see. I found a picture from 2018/2019 that this place got A grade rating. WOW!!! This place has definitely...
Read moreThe burger was disappointingly dry and much thinner than the enticing images portrayed on the menu. While the fries were enjoyable, the drive-through service left much to be desired. The operator seemed indifferent, merely going through the motions despite the lack of a long line.
Given the recent price hikes at Burger King, one would reasonably expect thicker, juicier burgers and a more appreciative customer service experience. I was awarded two stars only because my order was both accurate and warm upon my arrival home.
Additionally, it is concerning that accessible entrances for individuals with disabilities still lack appropriate doors that can be easily managed by someone alone in a wheelchair. The heavy doors are difficult to open while seated, making entry into the establishment a frustrating challenge. Customers often find themselves waiting for a passerby to graciously assist them, highlighting a lack of awareness about the needs of those living with disabilities.
In Tifton, many public spaces fail to provide accessible entrances, relying solely on sidewalk access. This raises an uncomfortable question: are we truly welcoming to all members of our community? We must advocate for suitable facilities that allow everyone to enter without feeling like a burden to others, coming and going while still having their...
