First and foremost I would like to state that this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant. I am very disappointed with the service that was provided, or lack there of, for my sister's graduation dinner. This dinner was planned weeks in advance with constant communication between the management to make sure this day went flawless. All those efforts failed as we waited patiently for CeeCee to come over to greet us. She informed us she was finishing up a tab and she'll be right with us. After 30 minutes of waiting, she finally came over and explained that she "had to split up the check and they were trying to give me a hard time." She took our drink orders and the manager came out with bread a few minutes later. After we placed order for our food, we waited for atleast 45 minutes for food to start coming out. At that time Ceecee came back and asked me what my order was and I told her. After about 30/40 minutes, Ashanti appears and she has to retake orders because she was asked to do it and she was taking over for Ceecee. She went through and gathered everyones order again. At this time, I still have not received any food and everyone else is eating. Keep in mind I am a 7 month pregnant woman that has been seated and waiting since 3:30pm and it is now pushing 6pm. I went to speak to the manager Zay to let him know to cancel the order after numerous servers kept asking me over and over what my order was. Ceecee approached us as I was speaking to the manager yelling that she quit the table because "we were disrespecting her." I continued speaking with the manager because I had no personal interaction with Ceecee besides placing my drink and food orders. After Ceecee became loud and unprofessional, Zay had to push her into the kitchen area to calm her down and remove her from the restaurant floor. Zay offered to make my food in 10 minutes and I accepted. As we were leaving the tables, Ceecee continued to be combative as we were passing. She is actively taking orders and standing in front of another table. I've noticed this frustrated and unprofessional behavior throughout our interaction with her as our server. An order came out wrong and she carried it back stating "why did they put bacon on the fries when I said no bacon....they can't read or something." As I was leaving I approached Zay again asking for corporate contact information to inform them of this incident, and ceecee once again approached us and cut me off as I was speaking. She claims someone in the party called her a name and I explained to her that it was not me and I have no idea when or what happened. She begin screaming, yelling, and disrespecting me on the restaurant floor, pointing and screaming in my direction. Once again Zay had to push her into the kitchen to remove her from the floor. I am mortified that I had this experience on a day that was supposed to be full of celebration. Furthermore, I am deeply offended and felt very threatened as a pregnant woman who has received terrible service to be verbally attacked on the restaurant floor more than once for something I did not do. Will not be visiting this location again and would not recommend it for...
Read moreWe had the worst experience with the rudest waitress we've ever had in our lives tonight. She made us feel so unwelcome and like we were a bother to her. I cannot remember her name, but it was a taller African American girl with short braids. As soon as she came up to the table and we had our first interaction with her, I knew it was going to be bad. Nevertheless, we were friendly towards her the entire time.
When we sat down, we ordered an appetizer with the kiosk at the table. She acted taken back that we ordered an appetizer using the kiosk and immediately removed it from our table and put it out of sight. She never refilled our drinks or checked on us. We had to ask other waitresses for things. When she brought our drinks and food to our table, she SLAMMED everything down to where it made a loud noise (absolutely no exaggeration here)! When she brought our food, she made one continuous motion and never even stopped to ask if we needed anything to go with it. My husband asked for ranch with his salad and she brought him honey mustard. So he leaned out to try to get her attention and she turned around as she was dashing off and said "what you need" in a rude tone (like he was bothering her). Then once we got finished eating, we needed a to go box, which she never came back, so my husband ended up asking another waitress.
While the other waitress was getting the box, I told my husband I was getting up to find our kiosk so we could pay and get out of there. About the time I found our kiosk and started putting my card in, our waitress magically appeared... and DIDN'T leave and was WATCHING me like a HAWK as I was using the kiosk (watching her tip and review I can only assume). My husband ended up asking her to also go get us a to go box (the other waitress hadn't brought it yet) so she would leave and I could use the kiosk without her trying to intimidate me while I used it. Also, her demeanor completely changed when she realized I found the kiosk. There was obviously a reason she takes the kiosks off her tables (I noticed her do this at another table of hers) and there was a reason she had an attitude change immediately when she realized I found the kiosk.
I did notice her laughing and being friendly with another table she had that were also African American, so I strongly believe she was discriminating against us (we are white) and being racist and that's why we received the service we did (with the overwhelmingly rude attitude). My husband and I were so polite from the second we sat down, all the way to the end. There was absolutely NO reason she should've treated us this way. I'm not sure if all their waitresses are like this to their customers of other races or if it was just this waitress, but I am appalled at how we were treated. If there's video footage of this in the restaurant, I strongly encourage management to go watch for yourselves.
Just to add, the restaurant was not busy at all. And I was a waitress for several years in the past, so I know all about it and her treatment was...
Read moreThis was place was the go spot when our movie night was a bust. Google restaurants near me in this was the first one to pop up The croissants in the pictures it is what made me pick this place. It didn't take long for us to be seated it was busy but not that busy where there was a wait. Right as we sit down the waitress came by with the croissants complimentary to the table which was awesome. They were warm and flaky the perfect start to the night because it was very cold outside. We ordered the country fried steak mashed potatoes and the broccoli and cheese casserole which were all pretty good I wish the food could have been a little hotter but still the country fried steak was very crispy the craziest what gave it flavor I asked for the gravy on the side because I didn't want anything to get soggy the mashed potatoes were okay not the best but definitely not boxed or instant mashed potatoes and the broccoli and cheese casserole was very good. For that dish overall I would give it a 8.1/10. We also ordered the cheeseburger with bacon we made it a double let me tell you you do not need to make it a double the burger is already big on its own but it was also very delicious and instead of the regular fries we ordered the loaded fries that came with bacon and cheese. Overall that dish was a 7.9/10. With it being such a large burger it could have been cut in half it didn't have any condiments on it so you had to add all of those yourself and the fries would have been better if it was more of a liquid cheese than a shredded cheese. We also ordered Arnold Palmer's they get a 10 out of 10 perfect combination of tea and lemonade and we got those to go as well. The atmosphere was very nice in the sense of the lights were somewhat dimly lit it wasn't too loud even though they're were lots of people in the establishment. They have this very beautiful fish tank in the middle of the room separating the bar in the dining area with plenty of fish and they included Christmas decorations which were very nice I would say the only thing missing was the warmed for it to be a restaurant and Christmas theme it was actually really cold in there. So if anything I would just ask to turn the heat on a little bit also you're able to order your appetizers drinks and desserts from a kiosk on the table as well as pay for your meal from the kiosk which was great it has a small survey of seven questions at the end and it really isn't all that invasive so it's a quick way to pay and leave at your leisure. Will most likely come here again for...
