Read moreI ordered from Door Dash $100 of food - 2 mofong and 2 media noche w/yucca and maduros. My order was delivered without 1 media noche w/yucca and absolutely NO broth for the mofongo - none.
I called the store to explain, the gentleman on the phone said the broth would be ready when I arrived. I arrived 15 minutes later it was not ready. In addition, the manager/staff on duty went into to explaining the different amounts of broth seved based on the protein choice. I was unaware of this, as my first time ordering two or three days ago, the exact same meal was served with a mid-sized portion of broth not a trace amount in a small container as described by the man on duty (white male, dark hair in a low messy bun at his nape).
The portion of sauce served is not my concern. I say this because the first time i ordered, I .received a mid sized portion of broth with the mofongo, thereby setting the expectation THAT is what I am to receive henceforth.
So, when I said to him " maybe its a training issue since I was given the incorrect portion my first time", his response - " you dont have the authority you THINK you have", to which my response was - " you're looking for a moment. I'm just trying to be clear on what note I now need to leave that I did not know I needed to leave so that I will have the same experience as before". He said he had nothing more to say, waved his hand and walked off mid - sentence - dismissive.
So, as I see it, we have the following issues: My broth not being ready as I was told it would be when I arrived. Again, an expectation set by your staff that was not met. Why?
Staff/manager who is unreceptive to patron feedback to ensure a consistent experience, lacks ownership of fault and is dismissive to someone who, before the driver tip, spent over $85 on food delivery. Again I...
Read moreI visited this restaurant with children including my seven month old daughter for a quick mommy daughter dinner. It was very hard to get seating as they have a poor list system but we waited 30 mins and were able to snag a table. The server was polite and the food was good BUT very very slow. We were there for 3 hours.
My issue is not the food but the fact that my finger was smashed in the women’s large stall bathroom door after I had tried to flush the toilet they did not previously flush. The door closes very fast and upon coming out of the bathroom with my hand bleeding and swelling I asked for paper towels and help. A gentleman provided me paper towel and later came to my table with ice and a incident report which he was more concerned about than my hand. I informed him that we were not looking to cause trouble, and my husband had since joined us is a physician and will take care of my hand. He insisted upon came to my answering a bunch of questions and when I didn’t answer the way he wanted he suggested better answers. I refused to sign it because they were his words not mine + I felt there was no concern for me and I was still in pain. He walked away never offering an apology, a glass of water or any genuine concern for myself and my family. Upon leaving I asked him his name and told him I displeased with the lack of regard, empathy and concern. My hand was in so much pain I could not even push my stroller. He then apologized but said it was based on his training to never tried to bribe a patron. I told him I wasn’t looking for anything but Genuine concern for me and not just protecting his business. Needless to say good old fashion customer service doesn’t exist here.
Finger is STILL bruised...
