The place was empty for starters and it made sense after my first tee shot. The simulation doesn’t work at all. I scored a 12 on my first hole and it was a par 4 at 368 yards. I can hear real golfers laughing out loud right now. Never in my life has this happened. I was hitting an 8 iron 30 yards and a 4 iron 60 yards at a time. I felt like a toddler playing golf for my first time. You can’t set the golf ball on a tee for your drive and it sits in a little hole to be recognized to create an even worse lie. So we switched games, hoping the experience would get better. Nope, I couldn’t hit a single target for football. I would throw it extremely high and it would register in the dirt. It did the same thing for our baseball pitches. I asked to speak to the manager and she said the calibration must be off. She said it is run by the same software as Top Golf. But, I had to chase each ball after I hit or threw it. It doesn’t shoot new balls into the hitting area after each shot or give you a new football or baseball to throw each time. The food was bland and a typical bar style food menu. Everybody in my group, said they would never come back. I do have a pro though. I didn’t have to pay for parking in the green garage next door. We left the place before our 60 minute bay time ran out. It was that bad. We just paid and gave our standard 20% tip despite the horrible experience. It isn’t the waiters fault that the place is sub-par. This place has been here since covid and it must be the covid economic relief money and drunk ATL baseball spectators keeping them in business because after seeing other reviews, I’m not the only person to have experienced this. I felt like I was scammed out of my money and it didn’t feel good at all. I really hope this review helps the leadership to determine next steps operationally and...
Read moreThe good: I went here yesterday to have lunch with 4 other people. I had the pleasure of trying some of their food while at ASW across the street so I suggested it to the group as an option for lunch. The food was great still we had wings and the massive pretzel (cheese was a bit on the stingy side) both were great though. We had a mixture of burgers and patty melts and every one loved their food.
The bad: we got our bill and found out they are cashless, not a big deal in todays world. But there was also a 20% gratuity added to our tab which was odd as we were only a party of 5 and it didn’t say anywhere that we could find that that would be added. But here’s the real kicker the waitress told us we couldn’t split the tab up. After some protests she finally said that she could split it in half and after a few more questions we found out that she could in fact split it but it’s too difficult on the pos they have so it would take a really long time. So essentially it boiled down to she lied to us and then she was too lazy to do the work? It would have been nice if she had told us any of these things when we first sat down as we might have made different choices or left. I’m sure she didn’t because we were the only ones there eating. There was only one other group (a family) playing the virtual games. So you can’t make the argument that it was too busy to mess with splitting a check. I loved the food and the atmosphere but I won’t be back because of the afore...
Read moreWe were able to get in with no wait on a Saturday! I made reservations for one of the play areas for 9pm and was playing to go to another restaurant prior to our time there however their was an excessive wait time at the other location luckily our party of 8 was able to come over to goodgame and have dinner prior to our game. For appetizer i chose the cheese curds. They were decent but i wasn't a fan of the dipping sauce it came with so i ended up asking for ranch which is house made and much better IMO. I chose a blueberry lemondrop for my drink which was good good light but had a little kick to it. For my entree i chose the salmon blt with steamed broccoli instead of fries. The boy was tasty i only which they would have put more of the sauce that comes with it on it ( I'm a sauce person can you tell lol). Our reservation became available while we where finishing dinner but we were able to take our food to the bay so that we could get started. A hostess came over and gave very brief instructions on how the games work (we didn't find it it be the most detailed explanation as we still had to figure out how most of the games worked. We still managed to have a really good time with the different virtual games they had to offer from golf to hockey to carnival games. Overall I'd recommend checking them out for a fun night with friends or bae. Heads up: they don't split checks here and they only validate...
