I am typically a fan of Yard House but was dissatisfied with my visit recently. First I prefer indoor seating and was sat outside on their patio. Most places will ask this question but we were hungry and it was a nice day so I went along with it. I ordered Fish and Chips for the first time anywhere...my Hubs said I have never had a bad fish and chips. I will get to that in a minute. The adult drink I wanted they did not have so I had to pay more for another drink that was similar. I ordered a regular soda and we ordered and appetizer at the same time. We waited for a good while but finally the appetizer came, then the mixed drink, when the waitress came I said...remember I ordered a soda. She said I got you. 12 to 15 minutes go by...so I have to eat my appetizer with no soda. I did not want to drink my adult beverage from the thirst the appetizer was creating but had no choice. At this point our appetizer is gone and we sit another 10 minutes...still no soda and no food order taken. We had to ask one of the hostesses to go and find the server. She finally comes with my soda and takes our food order. The fish and chips comes and the fish is clearly overcooked and so wad the fries. The fries were probably seconds away from tasting burnt but still had that more hard texture from being overcooked. I ate what I could of the fish which was not even a whole piece. My husband had to send his fries back as his were cold when his plate landed on the table. And that drink that was not brought until after the appetizer was gone...yeah it never got refilled the whole time we ate our actual food. I did note that it appeared they had one waitress working the patio area but it was not full by any means and they still had runners bringing the food etc. So to me...I still felt dissatisfied. And if t's like this on a non baseball Thursday when not at full capacity I would not even go on a night where there was a game or on a weekend. Again typically I love it but this...

4/24/2024 After the Braves game I decided to dine at Yard House. I ordered the kurobuta pork burger. It was overcooked and I was able to peel the grill marks; meaning the cooks weren't cleaning the grills, etc. I told my server, Marc G (great server btw), and he brought me another burger. This time I couldn't peel the grill marks. There was a small piece that was overcooked, but it wasn't dry and tasted great. Before I left, I asked to speak to the manager; to politely express my displeasure. Mike Thomas gave me two gift cards for compensation on my next visit. He was very polite and apologized for my inconvenience.

7/3/2024 Again I decided to stop by after a braves game; and to use the gift cards I was given. I ordered (to go) a stacked turkey club, cheese pizza, and philly cheesesteak sandwich. It took entirely too long to receive my order. I was not notified when my order was brought to the to go counter. My son asked me to check after he saw a bag sitting for some time. When I asked, the server was like "oh yeah" this is your order. That informed me that no one was paying attention to orders. Once I got home, I noticed that my son's pizza wasn't cut, which shouldn't have been the case. As I'm cutting I felt something sharp. I lift up the crust and notice part of the pizza pan wire was imbedded in the crust. After removing it and getting my son settled, I took a bite of my sandwich. It was overly seasoned and I wasn't able to finish it. My moms turkey sandwich was thrown together. No type of care was given with my order. I completed a customer service complaint form. I've yet to receive a call or email back. Hopefully Yard House sees this, and compensate me for another horrible experience. This location needs to do better. Possible hire people who want to work and take pride in cooking and preparing great...

Came down from Chattanooga for the game and walked in at 10:45am, before they opened and sat at the bar, and we were some of the first people in the restaurant. Ordered drinks at 11 when they were able to serve and ordered an appetizer which arrived quickly. Ordered our main food, a burger and poke which the server said we could sub the nachos for lettuce wraps, at 11:07am and everything went down hill from there.

40 minutes went by and had not received our food. The gentleman beside us came in shortly after us but didn’t order food until about 45 minutes after he arrived as he was waiting for his wife. People who came in after us were getting their food so we talked to one of the servers who looked into it and then took our order again as it seemed it didn’t get ringed in.

20 minutes go by and nothing. We asked for the manager at this point which the gentleman beside us go his food. Manager took her time coming over. Saw her taking photos with someone she probably knew and laughing. When she finally got to us, her tone was not empathetic at all. Seems as if it was an inconvenience for her to come and deal with a situation. My fiancé explained the situation which the manager didn’t seem to care. Made us feel as if it was our fault for the food taking so long.

Instead of taking ownership of the issue and acknowledging that they made a mistake, she puts the blame on that the order was put in, she’s the only manager on duty, and that they are busy. You weren’t busy when we put our order in at 11:07am and every party that came in after us were already finished with their food.

Luckily, she comped our food on our bill, but in the future take ownership of your employees mistake and work on your customer service. Service...

We ordered burgers the patties were thick but dry and very charred on the outside. If the burgers came with adequate toppings sauce (very little was on the burger) maybe it would have helped. I just feel like an $18 burger should have been delicious. I ordered a salad and maybe I’m being picky but the ranch was not the delicious thick creamy ranch steakhouses usually have. It honestly reminded me of Kraft dressing. My husband ordered fries. They had no seasoning and were close to almost being cold but more so giving a stale taste. My side salad had very fresh tomatoes and carrots (wish I would have gotten diff dressing). Kids meals were cheap to be expected. Our server was sweet and made our kids chocolate milk which was not on the menu. I normally don’t care to review restaurants but this one deserves a review… upon parking in the red deck we were under the impression wherever we ate our parking would be validated. We asked this at yard house before we sat down and the answer given was yes. After our waitress gave us our check we went to the host stand and she told us that they were “out of validations” and we could just get a sticker from any other restaurant. After feeling like a complete idiot and asking a few they all said that YardHouse has acquired this reputation and refuses to buy their own parking validations stickers and tries to pawn their paying patrons off to other nearby restaurants. To sum it up the food is overpriced and not good and they don’t validate parking. If you decide to eat here I would say get your sticker before ordering and bring your parking ticket with you.
