UPDATE: I APPRECIATE YOUR APOLOGIES HOWEVER, I WOULD APPRECIATE A CALL BACK FROM CORPORATE!! AS THIS IS THE SAME EMAIL I HAVE SEEN TO OTHER REVIEWS WITH THE SAME ISSUES! So talking to your staff is obviously not doing any good because they are continuing to treat customers is if they don't matter and they definitely don't care!!!
I have never dealt with such unprofessional individuals! Chelsea ( the manager) and her crew of 2 in the front are rude and extremely unprofessional!! I had a mix up the other night and spoke to the General manager Hansel. He invited me to come back to the store anytime and replace my three large chicken noodle matzo ball soup. I called today and he was not there I spoke to Chelsea she said she would have them ready in 20 minutes. It took me over an hour to get there and my husband waited for over 23 minutes for them to bring him three small regular chicken soups! No matza balls in any and wrong size!! When he questioned it he was told that's what they were told to give us. I tried to call back to speak to Chelsea and her very rude employees refuse to put her on the phone left me on hold for over 30 minutes then took the phone off the hook. If this is how Goldberg's does business I definitely won't be back! This was a waste of my time and my money to drive all the way over there to get two three small soups when I paid $35 for three large soups! I've been reading through all the other reviews and I see that this is a common Occurrence at this particular location. Unprofessionalism, rudeness towards customers, ignoring customers the list goes on. It's obvious that no one employed here cares for the customer at all at least in the front or the management there was not one customer in there when my husband went to pick up the soup today and yet they had him standing there for over 23 minutes when we were assured the soup would be ready not only did we not get the large soups that we were promised by Hansel the general manager but we also waited and then we were treated rudely and hung up on. Don't waste your money or your time they could care less if you...
Read moreI was truly taken aback by the customer service I received. This May 2021 I placed an order online for a bakers dozen and some extra bagels for my students to have for breakfast on the first day of state testing. I picked up the order on Sunday. When I got to work on Monday I noticed the bagels were not fresh and the order was not correct. Additionally, I added curbside pick to my order and when I arrived I called and they said someone would be bringing the other out to me. 10 mins went buy a no one ever came out so I went inside. Seems someone forgot to bring it out to me after I called but I did not make a big deal about it. I was missing 5 blueberry bagels. I was given extra plain as a replacement but it was not communicated to me. I was bothered by this because I asked my students their preference as far as flavor. Many of them had never had bagels before so this was outside of their comfort zone. When I realized the issue I responded to the email Goldberg's sent me with my receipt. I did not expect a reply but I got one. The manager Rick responded apologizing for the mix up and offered to not only refund my order but also replace it for my students. He also called and left a detailed message with these details on my cell phone. I called back and responded to Rick's email thanking him and we set up a new time for me to pick up the replacement order for my students about 2 weeks later. I got the replacement order this Sunday May 23rd and Rick was there and so friendly and once again apologetic. He had the order all ready for me and even threw in plain and strawberry cream cheese. I was impressed with his customer service and my students enjoyed their bagels so much. They LOVED the strawberry cream cheese which they make in house from scratch . All the bagels were fresh and soft. You could tell they were just baked shortly before I picked them up. I will return to Goldberg's over and over due to this experience. Thanks...
Read moreI absolutely love getting chicken noodle soup at this location. Last night (or this morning I should say) I had an experience that completely rubbed me off the wrong way. I ordered a soup as i normally do and went to pick up. The young lady was nice enough to wait for me since they were closing and I got stuck in some traffic. The security there wouldn’t allow me to park so it took longer than 10pm for me to go into the parking garage. When I arrived, the young lady handed me the soup and it was all in a rush because it is now past 10pm and registers were all shut down. The following morning I woke up first thing to a voicemail from Sylvia who was so adamant I drive back alllll the way there (I do not live in the area or anywhere close) to make a $6 payment lol
First of all don’t call me first thing on a Sunday morning about something YOU missed! And especially of that value and on top of that got my order wrong. The young lady who handed me my food had nothing to do with it, she was actually very courteous and went above and beyond in my books! And she was the only reason I even returned the call.
Twinetta and Dulz stepped in and saved the day. Only reason I made that drive back to make the payment. They both issued a very sincere apology and offered me another meal at a discount and were ready to do whatever it takes to make it right! I will be returning because of them. I am very grateful for people like this. Made my...
