HORRIBLE SERVICE. I actually passed a Chipotle and chose to patronize Willys, instead. Upon ordering a burrito, I asked the preparer if he could please cut my burrito in half and wrap each side separately. As he was rolling the burrito, it burst open and everything began oozing out. However, he continued to roll the burrito in the aluminum foil. I told him the burrito had busted open and he said it opened where I'm going to cut it, in the middle, anyway. I said, "No, it completely burst open and the contents are oozing out of the foil." He continued to go back and forth with me, arguing with me about it, numerous times, to where I finally said, "Wow, so you're just going to continue arguing with me about making my burrito that I'm paying for?" With an attitude, he then walks over to grab another tortilla and very rudely and unprofessionally begins talking to another staff member about me and the situation right in front of me. The most appalling thing is that he had on a managers shirt, and had the WORST attitude and the most HORRIBLE customer service for him to be a leader at the establishment. Read moreThis is the second willys I've been to with staff issues in the same general area which is making me wonder about a possible market manager issue. I used to work in this market segment so I know thing or two about this business model. I usually love willys but I had the worst service today and there was no one in line behind me. A guy named D with a manager tag on just stood there staring at me without saying a single word after I approached the counter. Then the cashier didn't say a single thing to me either. She dropped my credit card and receipt on the counter in front of me with no thank you or anything... just stood there looking at me. I then dropped one of my dressings on the floor right in front of them and had to ask for a tray which they should've given me anyways and was finally asked did it spill out with an irritated look about her. I honestly don't blame this girl for having a bad attitude when this so called manager leads with such a poor example. I don't expect super star service from willys because the food is great but this is why places like chick fil a are dominating fast casual because the competition is sending the signal they don't want customers. Read moreI usually don't write reviews for restaurants, but it feels important to highlight this issue that happened for me today. I ordered Willy's for lunch via DoorDash. I ordered a burrito with the Sinaloa Tofu. Since it was a burrito, and I never had issues with the other Willy's locations I've ordered from, I didn't think to unwrap and check it. I got a few bites in before I hit the protein and something seemed off. I haven't eaten chicken in almost a year and since I know the tofu was marinated in a similar flavor, I didn't think much of it. Eventually, the texture hit me and I realized I was eating chicken. I'm sure this was an honest mistake but unfortunately, this has caused lots of discomfort since it's been so long without eating this protein. For any vegetarians or vegans out there, just make sure you double check your order before digging in.
