03/07/2025 between 12:00 PM- 1:00 PM- &Pizza Address:19823 Century Blvd, Germantown, MD 20874. Store suggestion/complaint: Did not order due to staff refusing to take my order verbally. They are enforcing to use the big tablets/screens at the store for the people to place their orders. This is where I am bit confused and frustrated. They were not busy, there was only one person waiting for their pizza to come out of the oven. This is my second time that I have visited this & Pizza as I work and live 10 minutes away from this location. I was told to order through the tablet/screen. I ended walking out due to employee refusing to take my order verbally. However, a few weeks back I was the first and only person to order in the store and was told by the employee to order on the tablet, and I did. This first event happened around same lunch time 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. A few moments later another customer walks in but is greeted by the same employee and takes their order verbally. I am bit thrown off as to what is the new policy that has been provided to employees. What message is &Pizza promoting to provided a better customer experience through this new way of ordering. I' am pro technology and implementation of new ideas into a workplace but refusing to take a customer order verbally is beyond my understanding. I am sure a district manager or store manager can agree with me. I am also probably not the only person that has experience this with this store. We have to make exceptions and provide quality customers service when people are not able to use new technology, understand the language or have some disabilities. Germantown is a culturally diverse city with many people from different ethnicities and learning differences. I really hope someone from corporate, district manager, or manager sees this and makes changes. Refusing a customers order verbally to enforce the use of tablets/screens may be causing this store to lose customers in area that is highly foot trafficked. I am sure that this not what upper management wants but some corrections need to be made in this store or to their...
Read moreOn June 29th, 2018 at 8:15pm, I placed an online order at the Germantown, Maryland &Pizza. My family and I received a text message alert that our pizza was ready. We arrived at the location around 8:30pm, expecting to have our pizza’s ready. We asked the cashier for our order and she didn’t acknowledge any of us. I thought maybe she didn’t hear me or because the place was busy, so I asked her again. She told me that she would look for the order. Then she comes back to me and tells me they haven’t been made. So I ask her “so it’ll be a few minutes?” Again, she ignores me. I asked another worker and she walks to the back room. She returns and tells me the order was never printed so that’d they have to make it from scratch. By this time I’m losing my patience. It’s almost 9:00pm and our pizzas haven’t even been made. The cashier then calls for help from a lady who turns out to be the manager. The manager tells me that the order didn’t print and kindly offered my family and I some drinks. We sat and waited an additional ten minutes for us to get 2/3 of our orders. I approach the cashier again and ask her where our 3rd order is. She calls her manager again and we show her our receipt. She apologized and said she would make the 3rd order. After almost an hour of waiting, we finally get all 3 of our pizzas. But 2 of them were the wrong order and not even close to what we ordered. As if things were not already bad, they completely disregarded our dairy allergy alert and gave us real cheese. We walked out the building and gave our pizzas away in frustration. I would just like to inform you because this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I always come to this location and enjoy the vegan pizza your company offers. But this is frustrating especially since we go there all the time. What make things worse is I wrote this statement to corporate and they didn’t even reach out to me. I doubt I’ll be going back to...
Read moreSince &pizza at Gaithersburg Square was sold out of gluten-free dough until Monday, my boyfriend and I drove to the &pizza at the Shops at Town Center & Century Station. I didn't like this location as much because a homeless person asked us if we could buy him a pizza while we were trying to enjoy our meal.
For drinks, my boyfriend enjoyed the Mango Passionfruit soda and the Razz Berry Mint Lemonade. The Dark Cherry Cola in a can tasted nasty and not like the fountain soda one. I wish I had gotten the Sweet Root Beer or the Dark Cherry Cherry Cola fountain soda.
My boyfriend enjoyed The Maverick with jalapeños and pesto drizzle. I wasn't a fan of my creation that I've enjoyed at other locations. My creation consisted of a gluten free pizza dough with classic tomato sauce, spinach, fresh mozzarella, mushroom, roasted red peppers, pineapples, grilled onions, salami, and meatballs finished with kalamata olives and fig balsamic drizzle. I liked how thin and crispy the crust and how the pizza had a nice balance of sweet and savory. However, the classic tomato sauce was light and runny, the pineapple were not ripe, and the grilled onions were flavorless and...
