The worst McDonalds Iâve ever been to. I went in starving as I had missed 2 meals in the prior 24 hours. As a vegan I was disappointed that they did not have the McPlant. So I thought âoh well, Iâll just have fries and an apple pieâ and after ordering I decided to get a drink, so made a separate order. The wait times were rediculous, never in my life have I had to wait 30mins for fast food, but I suppose thereâs a first time for everything⌠So after what seemed like an eternity my food finally turned up⌠I started off with the fries and they were so bland I might as well have been eating the cardboard theyâre served in and to make matters worse they decided to give me a strawberry and cream pie instead of an apple pie (which I didnât realise until I had already left) so I couldnât even eat that. Additionally, the person who was preparing my drink just decided to stop and do something else halfway through, leaving the empty cup under the drink tap, until the point my order number disappeared from the board. Prompting me to have to ask a member of staff to have my order fulfilled. They then filled my drink up to the point where it was impossible to not spill any and as a result spilled it down my white t-shirt. I donât know why this has annoyed me so much (probably because Iâm still starving tbh), but I donât think Iâm being dramatic by saying that it genuinely ruined my day and potentially my life đ
If youâre thinking of coming here, genuinely donât bother. If you want to wait 30 minutes for food it might as well be somewhere nice, not this dumpster- fire of...
Read moreThis store needs some work. The location was very busy but they only had one register open - which isnât ideal. I was finally able to order and when my order number was called they got portions of my order wrong. Then, their Diet Coke was out so I had to ask them to fix it which took approximately 5+ minutes to take care of - in my opinion way too long. They mustâve launched a new program with self-serving screens in the lobby where, using a touch screen, you can order food without having to visit an actual register. Sounds like a decent idea - but the platform isnât intuitive at all (and Iâm super tech savvy) so I opted to wait in the long time versus using the new technology when I first arrived. I dined in with my two sons and planned to order food for my wife when leaving so it was still hot when we arrived home, yet because the line was still so long (I believe still only had one register open), I gave the automated touch screen another try. After a couple wrong choices I managed to figure it out. So, it seems the auto-system is potentially helpful - but my question is why is McDonalds trying to go the route of Sheetz, instead of more personal attention like Chick-Fil-A?? Bad move...
Read moreI went there hoping to get breakfast. I pull to the drive through because the lobby was closed. I didnât hear anybody speak or anything. They could have said just a minute would have been nice. They just left me hanging. I said hello a couple times. She finally said just a minute. Then she was ready to place my order. She started talking in rude tone. I said you donât have to get smart with me. I wanted a biscuit nâ gravy. They said they didnât sell it there. I drove off. I thought that was odd I thought every other McDonaldâs sold it. I even called the store to let them know how rude. I was treated I asked for manager. I told her everything that happened. She was still talking in rude tone. She told that were had orders head of me & was short staffed. I didnât appreciate being talked to that way. It will be my last time going to the Gettysburg, McDonaldâs. I found out today. That none of the McDonaldâs in PA carry biscuits Nâ Gravy. This sucks I thought all the McDonals carried the same...
