We’ve been to this location many times and on a variety of days, primarily Thursday, Friday and Saturday, all at night between 8pm and 1am. This place is pretty great, it’s a very large venue, they have more pool tables than a pool hall, if you want to have a private party they have 2 private areas you can rent for a very reasonable price, they have many beers on tap and a good selection of appetizers you can also order if you’re getting any cravings.
The private room on the main floor is all the way in the back, beyond the pool tables available to the general population. It is clearly separated so no one will accidentally wonder into the area. In this room you’ll have your own pool tables, shuffle board and dart board. You also get your own bathroom and bar with a bar tender which has access to the same things that the main bar has outside of the private room.
In general I’d say this is a great venue to have get togethers, wether it’s a casual night out with friends, an organized event or just going out with a bunch of friends for a birthday and meeting up here. The place is very large so you wouldn’t really have to give them advanced notice even if you’re having like 40-50 people meeting up there. Welllll… maybe if it’s like a random Tuesday night or something… but I wouldn’t really know about that.
Their food is also so good, my favorites include the cheese logs and beef skewers but I haven’t ever ordered anything I didn’t like.
The venue is facing brand blvd so it’s usually happening on these nights, you’ll see people coming and going to the variety of locations around the venue.
The parking is not ideal. You have street parking where you’ll have to pay at the meter but it’s usually a challenge to find a spot. There is a parking structure one block over. And there is a parking lot right behind the venue, where you’d typically find an alley, this is the least ideal parking since there is no direct path to the other side of the block so you’re walking all the way around. All parking costs money, but not going to break the bank.
The service has been consistent with a typical bar, during the rush you may be waiting a few minutes but you won’t get ignored.
The ambiance has always been fun, there is positive energy in the air, people are there to have a good time, good drinks and good food.
Overall, we’ve been coming to this spot for a while and definitely see ourselves coming...
Read moreHello Sir Furley,
I just wanna correct your statement since it seems like I’m the main star in this event. Ignorance is a pretty strong word.
Let me jot it down for you , all your presumptions from your assuming brain.
I I am not the girlfriend of Alex but instead I am the wife of James Zarco .
#2 Alex doesn’t deserve being called an ignorant. Your use of that word ignorant makes you the one who’s ignorant. He in fact tried to talk sensibly to your manager who they said was not available at the moment. Hmmmm...
#3 How dare you accuse me of being drunk. I am very confident to say that I’m sober. To prove this I even tried to talk to your “psychic” security into calling the cops to subject me into taking a breathalyzer test.
And about my walk... have you tried walking in 5inch heels? Do you know how it’s really difficult walking on those?
#3 I’m absolutely certain that I’ve never entered your bar and after this I would never ever enter you bar and even think of entering your bar ever again. To get things straight I took a nap which didn’t take 2hours. I was really tired from work and only after my nap was when I decided to join them. Maybe your guards take 2 hour naps.
Why not run your cameras to see if I even went in the bar. Maybe your security personnel are the ones that are drunk. If so they’re a hazard to your establishment.
#4 I was discriminated by your security personnel’s reaction towards me and my friends. It’s absolutely humiliating. There were other Filipinos smoking outside who witnessed this mishap. Talk about embarrassment. And calling us ignorant in social media makes this embarrassment even worse.
As I read your response to us over and over, now I understand how that bar is being managed. It is surrounded by a bunch of rude and disrespectful workers
It seems like we weren’t given a chance to explain our side of the story. For you to say that we’re racist when we said racist makes you discriminate us. As a matter of fact we were the aggravated party.
Alex was nice enough to even give you 2 stars. You don’t even deserve a star.
You own a bar??? How would you expect people coming there to be appropriate enough. I advise you to change your line of business and I wish your bar survives with your kind of treatment to...
Read moreThis place is absolutely great. Awesome atmosphere, ex-large space, plenty of pool tables and 3 dart boards you can rent.
Food: very reasonably priced the Quattro nachos are delicious I got mine with ground beef me and my buddy ordered them twice they were so good. The Philly cheesesteak is absolutely amazing the cheez whiz pure excellence.
Drinks: they have an awesome list of mixed drinks on the board at a reasonable price their happy hour is buy two get one free.
Cons: If I had to be critical, the bathroom smells terrible for men not sure about women's. There is no outdoor seating during covid they had it which was awesome but not anymore, they typically don't play the major sporting events over the loudspeaker Edward Glendale having a lack of sports bars seems like a miss.
Conclusion: This place is great for catching up with friends, hitting happy hour after work, going on that first date or just working off to the side. Always a good time, the bartenders are amazing and...
