We placed a decent-sized order, and the girl confirmed it. The entire process, from placing the order to paying for it, went smoothly. However, upon arriving home, we discovered that a part of our order was missing. This was problematic because one of our family members did not receive their food. I immediately called the store to inquire about the missing item, and a girl answered the phone. She recognized us and I explained the situation to her. She informed me that we would have to drive back to the store, which was 20 minutes away, to have the missing food replaced. I explained that this was inconvenient for us and requested a refund instead. The girl informed me that we would still have to come to the store for a refund. I asked to speak with a manager, but was placed on hold for 8 minutes. No one ever picked up, so I hung up and attempted to call back. However, the line was busy. I tried again 10 minutes later, but the line was still busy. While I understood that mistakes happen, this experience was quite frustrating. We wanted to order at the counter as we have some special request and thought it would easier. When finally spoken to we were told to use the big touchscreen instead. We navigated it, but took some time. Finished, paid and took a seat. After waiting near 20 minutes and joking we should used the drive thru, I went to check on the order. The same dude looked at me and acted as he just met me even though we were the only people in the restaraunt. Asked ne how he could help, to find out they had no record of the order and when we still went to place the order again we were now 10 minutes past the breakfast menu and when asked his manager she said no to making it for us. We left and will not return to this particular Taco Bell certainly. Not sure when customer service went to crap, but we certainly experienced it here. I had an awful experience at this location. I went through the drive-through and ordered a taco, being kind and friendly with the cashier. When I got home, I realized it was the wrong taco — so I drove all the way back. I was frustrated but still polite. They gave me another taco… and it was wrong again.
When I calmly pointed it out, the employee (who I later found out was the manager) reached into my car, snatched the food from my hand, and threw it in the garbage. Completely unacceptable behavior.
I called on my way home to speak with a manager, only to find out that he was the manager, and his response was: “If you don’t like it, don’t come back to my store.”
To top it off, the taco I ended up with had dried-up chicken that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours.
I will absolutely be contacting corporate about this experience. This kind of treatment — especially from someone in a leadership role — is shocking and completely...
