Urartu Coffee — Restaurant in Glendale

I hate to leave a less than stellar review but I did not like Uratu Coffee. I ordered a Latte. As you know a latte is a type of coffee made with espresso and hot steamed milk, and it's milkier than a cappuccino. The more formal name is a caffè latte but in the typical vernacular it's known simply as a latte. The foam on the latte was wonderful and the milk to coffee ratio was spot on. The trouble was that the coffee tasted watery and not dark and rich like espresso. I couldn't decide if the beverage was made with regular weak coffee or if the machine wasn't calibrated correctly and the espresso was poor. For this reason I had to give Uratu a poor rating. The nice woman behind the counter was pleasant, the atmosphere was homey and comfortable and clean. It was nice to see art on the walls by real artists. I wanted to love this coffee shop but the latte was an extreme let down. My friend had the waffle and it looked amazing but unfortunately that was my friends' experience to write about...

Adorable shop in a very nice location ! Found this placing driving by and looking on Yelp for a good place to have breakfast and saw they had great reviews, so I had to stop by and try it out ! The place is well designed but quite small.. When we ordered our food (a bagel and a waffle) the place wasn't too busy.. We sat down (a down side for the place being small the tables are a bit too close to each other in my opinion) My biggest reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because of the wait time .. We waited about 45 minutes until the food came and honestly I usually don't mind the wait when a place is very busy, but it just didn't seem there was a good enough reason for the food to take so long. Overall the food was AMAZING and the people who worked there...

A cozy place to get your coffee fix. Very close to the Americana, and a good option if you want to avoid the crowds there for some coffee. Service was fast and friendly. I liked that they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Also, it's a relatively quiet coffee shop to enjoy in the area.

We opted for a Waffle me up (strawberry and banana), a honey oat latte, ham and cheese croissant, and a banana oat latte. I have to be honest here, I enjoyed their coffee more than the food. I particularly loved their banana oat latte, which had a good hint of sweetness and you can definitely taste the banana flavor.
