I went to have highlight. I shown the style that I want with photos. They were not able to do it (changed it twice), I am pregnant and spent six hours, yes unbelievable!!!!At the end I was not even close ... then we asked for the maneger or owner. We spoke with the owner, and asked for some redaction fee, so she called the police and police came...finally they agreed to change us for material....what do you think? They give us $50 discount, that’s mean most mejaraty was material which is bullony. The owner told us they talked with her lower and they can change agist us, she was extremely unpolit and agresive... I hope you never will have our experience, but if you have then you can not say anything becuse that’s going to happen. I never for ever will back there...

Thank you for providing this review as it gives me an opportunity to respond and clear my name and business. As many online will see, this review is an anomaly and totally out of norm for the rest of the type of positive five stars reviews my business receives.

First of all, we need to correct the facts. You came into the salon asking for a colored service which was not possible for a one time job but we made it work. We Offered to make any changes if you came back due to the quality of your hair. Your appointment actually ended with my staff having to call the cops, and you were ARRESTED on the premises for being a thief and stealing services you sought to obtain for free. The police actually informed me that you have a history of this behavior and stealing from other businesses around the neighborhood and this is why you were arrested. My small business will not tolerate this type of behavior and I’m happy to know that justice has been served. Further, we will not tolerate this type of defamatory language to be written about our business.

This is the response to the someone who can not take the responsibilities and try to make story and complete lies.!!!!! First, if your job needs many times, you must tell us from beginning, Which never happened. We don’t have even one parking ticket in our entire life.....wow such a cowered person!!! I understand you want to make you business good but you can not do everything you want. This is America and if you like to improve your business it’s better to see where is the problem and fix it not make the people complaining like the criminals and clime this is the problem!!! i found studio kay from instagram account “ANAHIT DANGHYAN” which is she is the one that i messaged i asked her for the price . she said make up $150 hairdo $120-$160 okay meaning my expectation was maximum my hairdo will be $160

i booked appointment for 9.40 makeup & 11.40 hairdo , after i done my makeup i went to other area on the back met TAMARA which is she will be the person that do my HAIRDO because before i booked i see from anahit instagram all hairdo done by TAMARA and i like her works so ok i also told anahit i want the hairdo too (and WHO’S NOT GONNA THINK THAT TAMARA WILL BE THE PERSON TO DO MY HAIR?)

then i sitting next to tamara waited for my turn almost 20mins (almost done) AND out of nowhere 1 armenian old lady came and said she has appointment with tamara , this is ridiculous while tamara herself was confused! R U LITERRALY TELLING ME THAT U TREAT UR CUSTOMER DEPENDS ON WHERE THEYRE FROM? meaning because she spoke SAME LANGUAGE/ armenian so she can took my scheduled like that?

ended up anahit sent me another hairstylist , which is NOT WHAT I WANT?! like wth?

i showed the new hairstylist picture of wavy hairstyles that i want! anahit said , ah yes she can do it , BUT THE RESULT? NIGHTMARE!!! 1 LADY TRY TO CONVINCE ME THAT MY HAIR IS GOOD THIS AND THAT . BUT I TOLD HER THAT MY HAIR LOOKS WEIRD! PLEASE TRAIN UR HAIRSTYLIST STUDIO KAY!!

there’s no other option for me , i ran out of the time! because of them i came late to my wedding photoshoot appointment! THE WORSE PART IS THE CASHIER TOLD ME MY HAIRDO $175 wth? I DIDNT GET THE PERSON I WANT ALSO THE HAIR STYLE THAT I WANT !

also the cashier told me that TAMARA doesnt work for their salon? then how can she suddenly got that olderly armenian woman that already had appointment? ridiculous!

DO NOT RELY ON THEM. They are flat out liars. They double booked me and didn't even tell me about it, nor did they even care whatsoever! I'm not even talking about my appointments for small occasions- I'm talking about giving them $1000 (or more) worth of business.

I called and booked for my bridal shower and my wedding day- I wanted to leave a deposit to save the dates, the receptionist Estineh told me that it was not necessary. I offered 3 times and she reassured me every single time saying that it's not necessary and that to trust her that the dates were booked and I was all set (she was practically laughing at me telling me it's fine and to stop worrying).

I had an informal event coming up that I normally wouldn't do my hair and makeup for, but I wanted to get to know the hairstylist and makeup artist so I went in. At the end of my appointment I went to double check my bridal shower and wedding appointments - literally just being paranoid - and the receptionist said oh it looks like we double booked you. She said it SO nonchalantly. She wasn't concerned at all, zero apology. I was so surprised! She was SOO CHILL. She acknowledged that I had booked weeks before the second client and that I had wanted to leave deposits, and she just kept saying I'll call you later once I figure out. What is there to figure out?! She also said that there's a note in my file that the salon called my cellphone- first of all, WHY is someone calling me at all to try and change my BRIDAL SHOWER and WEDDING DAY appointments, and second of all, it was complete BS, I never got a call and no voicemail. It's been six days and she still hasn't called (and when I myself called she said the same thing, that she'll call me once she figured it out). However days ago I called and booked elsewhere because this salon clearly CANNOT be trusted, especially for important occasions.

I genuinely feel bad for the owner of the salon. Estineh just lost him/her $1000 or more (bridal shower, wedding, hair and makeup trials, pre-wedding photo shoot, my bridesmaids, etc.). Who knows how much money has been lost over the years due to Estineh's blatant disregard of...
