This place is good if you don't have dietary restrictions. I think it's great they offer keto pizza on the buffet but they need to implement it better before it's really worth the buffet costs for keto people with a set lunch time limit. They don't like you ordering more than one keto "pizza" at a time and it takes about 10 minutes to be served to the line. Then it's been a consistent issue for me that they either aren't calling it out at all, or call it out too quietly to be heard in the back because multiple times now I've listened and waited and waited then went to check and there's nothing, waited a bit longer then went to check and it's there, but pekple who don't take the time to think and realize that this is literally the only "pizza" you can eat at the buffet have loaded up their plate with it because the slices are so freaking tiny and have left you with one, maybe two slices. Seriously I went there with my husband today, both of us keto, and he grabbed three slices and another dude slipped in before me and slapped four slices on top of his regular pizza filled plate and only left me with one slice. Then after I ordered another keto we waited and waited, and I heard them calling out cinnamon sticks and macaroni but no keto till my husband finally went to check and it was there with only one slice left. They either need to allow us to order more than one at a time or actually freaking call it out to be heard by those who can't eat the...
Read moreI tried this place again for the third time today, hoping it would be better than previous visits. No luck. It was even worse than previous lackluster experiences here.
I asked for a buffet with water and was told that all buffets now include a drink. Ok, well whatever, I didn't really want a drink, but I didn't have time to leave and go elsewhere for lunch, so I said OK and paid $9.84 for a buffet. Pretty much any other local buffet would have been cheaper and better.
I should have just left and grabbed anything from anywhere else.
It was only 12:40 pm and the pizza was nearly leather on the buffet. If it were better pizza, it would be fine if it had sat a little while, but this just wasn't good pizza to begin with. Even the plain pepperoni tasted like salt on a cracker. How can anyone mess up pepperoni pizza that badly??
There were several TVs in the dining area displaying various sports programming, but the only sound in the place was the local contemporary christian radio station playing on the speaker system. Contemporary christian music is nearly vomit-inducing if you accidently stumble across it on the radio spectrum, so seriously, what restaurant would EVER play that on purpose to paying customers who wish to eat?!
This was absolutely the worst lunch I have had in recent memory and I definitely won't be giving it a fourth chance.
That actually makes me sad because I liked Simple Simons...
