If I could leave 0 Stars I would! Felt very uncomfortable today in this shop, one of the employees accused my son of stealing because he had his hands in his hoodie pocket, he's NINE. She was watching my son every move he made through the store. When we were up at the register waiting to pay, I asked the employee "is there a reason you are eyeing my son?" and she paused as to think of a reason and said it was because "he looked like her nephew and her nephew had the same hoodie, and it was crazy how much they looked alike" and when I had said "well you have been eyeing him since we walked in" and she finally said it was because "he had his hands in his hoodie pockets" so I then asked her "are you accusing him of stealing or something?" and she proceeded to tell me "that it had been a problem lately" and rolled her eyes" she then asked him to empty his pockets which he did, and it was empty! She wrongfully accused a 9 year old of theft BEFORE we even checked out, not only was he embarrassed but was confused as to what had just happened as was I. I sat the items which i was going to purchase on the counter and said I will not be purchasing these from here today and I left. The whole situation was handled wrong and was entirely uncalled for 0/10 WOULD NOT recommend this store to ANYONE. If you do go there don't wear a hoodie because they might accuse...

We walked in hoping for a sweet treat on this hot day and a group of ladies were at the register just chit chatting while 2 ladies were working the ice cream station even though the store was semi busy. The young girl that ended up helping us after being told they needed help with the ice cream was snarky & had an attitude. I asked for a dreamcicle shake, they told me is was going to be a float and i explained that i just wanted vanilla ice cream & orange sherbet as a milkshake, which she told me wasn’t possible & they couldn’t do that. Merry Jayne's Ice Cream parlour is more than just 24 flavors of Blue Bell ice cream. It's also a sweet destination for lovers of anything sweet, including candies, hard or soft, and truffles.

The variety seems endless, especially with the taffey. Buckets, like shopping baskets in a grocery store, are provided to gather a personal stash. Packaged candies of all sorts are also available.

A whole case is dedicated to a number of chocolate truffles that cry out to be eaten.

The staff, two young kids, were very polite, prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.
