Rockin 'S Bar And Grill Lake Granbury — Restaurant in Granbury

Its hit and miss with this place sometimes I give 4 starts and sometimes 1 pretty sure never gave it 5 this last time if I could I would give a -2 i would we where there for an hour and a half (I first said 2 hours but the bartender had to prove me wrong by looking at the time on the register when she severed us our first drink didn't take into consideration we sat at a table for a good 20 minutes before we moved to the bar because no one came to take our drink order) shortly after or first drinks were given to us we ordered an appetizer to share that did not show up until an hour later half of it was cold. They were not by any means busy (was a Friday night but still not busy) and at any given time we could look over at the icecream stand and there would be 2-4 employees standing there laughing and looking at their phones. Our bartender must have smoked 5 cigarettes because we only saw her twice for a second and everytime we asked where she was we were told she was out smoking. Before we left I was talking to the other bartender and a man (not sure what position he held) about our experience and my concerns because I really would like this place to make it both of them said we will get the manager because she needs to hear this but neither of them called, went to get her or asked anyone to find her. Was very disappointed this was my cousin first time and she said she will not go back or suggest anyone too. My husband and I go there often because it stays open later, has live music and good food but a person can only be burn so many times with really bad service before they just stop going and its getting very very close for us specially sence there are other restaurants on and off the lake with good food...

June 2018...Will be interesting to see what business opens after this one shuts down. They are constantly out of everything. Mediocre food, what they actually have in stock. They can't keep the AC running. Was hot as HELL inside. Great remodel from what was the failed Dock bar and grill. Beer prices will have to drop and food quality to improve for this place to survive any longer than the previous restaurants at the same location, Cajun Cafe, Groggy Dawgs, The Dock (twice failed and the short lived Breakwater. Great location but nobody can keep those doors open long. Left this so called bar grill and went to Flames for better food, reasonable drinks and........air conditioning.

July 2018 Horrible service, expensive drinks, mediocre food for what they actually have on hand. They can't keep the ac working. Last visit a waitress told us stories of how she used to hitchike everywhere. I would have rather not known these things. You're better off asking what menu items they do have, versus ordering what you'd like. God forbid you try to fish near there from the shore. You'll be approached by a man with a pistol on his hip and a camera mounted to his chest telling you you're not welcome. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Place had great potential. 9/1/19 - Service here is terrible. This was my 5th visit with terrible service every time. This location is fairly new so my earlier visits were to see if they had worked out the kinks. It always takes 1 1/2 hour to 2 1/2 hours to get your food. Our first encounter with the waitress yesterday was "it will be about 30 minutes before you get your food the kitchen is backed up" we laughed knowing that probably meant 2 hours. It took about 45 minutes just to get chips/queso, 1/2 the chips were tiny pieces and she said that was all the chips they had. Had to find the waitress to get napkins, more drinks, etc. In all fairness, we have never complained about the food just that fact that it takes about 2 hours to get it and the service is terrible. At each visit the waitress has apologized, and that's sad since it's obviously a manager issue and not hiring the proper help. Yes the location is nice and the lake view great, but we will never go again. We have many friends that say they will never eat there again. There are no other restaurants Granbury with service this bad.
