Such a hard review to write! Man, these cupcakes are delicious! Problem was that I ordered a "dozen" cupcakes...I mean, like, five times I said a dozen... The employee kept getting lost in the order. She'd lose track of my order and have me order again. I finally said, just give me a dozen assorted. she couldn't, and said I had to order the flavor of cupcake. end of story, I got 11 cupcakes, and when I said I had come in for a dozen they looked at me like I had lobsters in my ears. Weirdest service ever... Then they said I could buy another one, after I'd already paid nearly $40 for 11. No... No thank you...I guess saying a dozen over and over means 11... Glad the birthday boy wasn't the odd man out at the party. I just didn't have my own and shared with my kid. Tasty...and weird experience....
Read morePicked up a dozen cupcakes and some cheesecakes for my son's birthday. The cupcakes had good flavor, but the frosting was hard on the top. They were still good, but would have been better if the frosting was soft, but they were decorated cute and a larger size cake. They are $3.49 each, but no discount for buying a dozen or more. I was told I would have to buy several hundred before they would change in price. Gigi's Cupcakes are the same price per cupcake, but they charge a flat amount of $35 for a dozen which they consider to be buying 10 and getting 2 free. Bake 'N Cakes charges $2.65 per Gourmet Cupcake and gives discounts for a half dozen and a full dozen. I liked the Aggie Mae's Cupcakes, but think they should be more competitive in pricing and offer a rate...
Read moreHorrible customer service. My wife and I ordered lunch take out and picked out a few desserts as well while grabbing the food. Once we got home we noticed that they had messed up our order (included a soup we didn't order and forgot a sandwich we did order). While obviously annoying and inconvenient, it happens. However, their solution was to bring the soup back, get a refund for it, and then pay for the sandwich they forgot. At the VERY least you'd think they would've offered to make the sandwich for free given the inconvenience of having to drive all the way back to their business for a mistake they made and all the way back home. I guess they'd rather lose 2 customers over $7. ...
