The Daiquiri Den — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

1st and last time going... I had a bad experience with this place. I ordered catfish basket, mozzarella sticks, corn fritters, fried ribs ,and two fully loaded french fries. When I got the order I was way too tired to do what I usually do which is check my food to make sure everything was alright. When I made it home I noticed that I did not have fried ribs I had a six piece barbecue wings and one of the fully loaded french fries came with no bacon bits and they have me hush puppies instead of corn fritters. This is the part that really got under my skin, when I called them to let them know of the mistake I was on my way up there and they told me that they were trying to call me but I did not answer the phone(NOT ONE CALL FROM THEM)so they told my"Door Dash Driver" of the changes that were made because they could not get in touch with me. Mind you I was my own driver. When I went to go pick up the order nobody told me of these changes at all cuz if they did I would have told them not to worry about it. So the fact that they told a lie on me to me is what really bothers me. Not to mention the fish even though it was cooked it was very greasy the chicken even though it was cooked it had no seasoning so they just threw barbecue sauce on it to make it taste like something. Not worth the money or the drive. But...

I had been looking for a good daiquiri spot with good food and came across this place on instagram. So today on may 20 I drove all the way from grapevine to try them out. I checked to see what time they opened and it said 11am and when I arrived it was like 11:30 am. I walk up and the door was unlocked but when I went in the lights were off no one was in the building. I even called to see if maybe someone was in the back of house. Got no answer. Left to go run some errands called a few more times to see if maybe someone had returned. Still nothing I drove back and the door was still unlocked and no one was in the building that I could see. Called over 6 times. I’m very disappointed, I was really looking forward to trying the lemon pepper catfish. Not sure if I’ll be given them another shot. If the weren’t gonna open on time they could have posted a sign or something to let people know. I wasn’t the only customer that walked in I saw another couple who wanted to go in but again door was unlocked but no one was in...

My cousin and I decided to visit the Daiquiri Den after seeing it on TikTok. I was excited to try the fried catfish, and she wanted to sample their daiquiris. Unfortunately, they only had two flavors available: I believe one was peach, and the other was Texas Lemonade or something like that. They were out of the other options.

I ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner with Parmesan fries. The fries were great, though I wish they had been cooked a bit longer. The fish and shrimp were well-seasoned but a little too salty for my taste—everyone’s preferences are different, though.

The overall atmosphere is fun and lively, perfect if you’re looking for a spot to have drinks and a good time with friends. Just make sure to check that they have all their flavors available, so you can enjoy the full experience. I’ll probably go back to try the daiquiris since I didn’t get a...
